Despite Everything

Everyone in my town is flipping the fuck out over a weird guy wearing all black and black gloves “taking pictures of kids” at a playground but he’s literally reading a phone-sized e reader WITH NO CAMERA and is rage baiting because he’s also being baited and yelled at. I don’t understand why he needs to be at a playground to read but he’s not doing anything until he gets harassed then he says gross shit just saying yes he’s doing what they’re accusing him of, BUT HE’S NOT, he is autistic and schizophrenic and holds his phone up to read so he doesn’t bend his neck (mans has rod straight posture). I don’t think he has another space nearby where he lives and he has only ever been seen walking. He writes weird books I guess. I read a page of it and it just sounds like he’s a sex repulsed heterosexual who is tortured by that but also dramatic, but some rational people are pointing out that famous authors like Stephen king wrote wild gross shit too. And recently he got punched tf out for it. And I got fooled on the mob mentality and I feel like a dumbass. I tried to offer a non violent alternative if people are really that mad but everyone just wants to be angry and say he should get his ass beat repeatedly but no one is gonna actually do it besides the one guy and he got ARRESTED. I had to delete the post. We all look like assholes, INCLUDING the black gloves guy. The problem isn’t his autism and schizophrenia it’s his mannerisms and how he reacts to accusations, and people’s reactions to it (which that part is NOT his fault). I hate this town, I hate everyone here, they all just have one brain cell and they pass it around to make shitty mob mentality comments. I’m such a dumbass for believing he really had a camera, I feel awful. He’s an asshole for that but he’s not doing anything illegal, and some people just have big weird reactions to harassment. I can’t do anything about it because the only sane people around are the young queers but this town is full of overly-conservative asshole dumbass older people. The lack of intelligence in the world is too hard to handle idk what to do anymore

So I deleted Facebook off my phone after this but I’m searching for jobs and also wanted to check details on a community event so I re downloaded it and first thing I see when I open the app is that he was beat with a tire iron. It was kinda bad. Distressed I dunno what to even think or say anymore

I really can and will blame the 9-5 for everything. "We're in a loneliness epidemic" well, we have to spend a third of our day interacting with people in a professional way that makes forming real friendships difficult and then we're peopled out by the time we're done. "People are eating more and more unhealthily" people have to spend more than a third of their day doing work related tasks and they don't want to spend their tiny amount of free time making food. "People aren't involved in their local communities" after spending more than a third of their day doing work related things people are tired and also all those community events take place during normal working hours. "People need to get more hobbies" after spending more than a third of their day working, people are TIRED and don't want to do anything that takes yet more energy. "Literacy is dying" to maintain your critical thinking skills you need to read/watch things that make you think and after spending more than a third of your day doing work related stuff you are TIRED and don't want to expend even more brainnpower. "People need to get outside more" People. Are. TIRED. Because they have to spend all of their time working or preparing for work or recovering from work or doing all the chores they couldn't stay on top of because of work. I can blame fucking anything on having to work, it is truly the root of all fucking evil.

Also be unapologetically disabled with mobility aids and wearable medical devices and stim toys and ear defenders and all that stuff. You need it. People need to see it. Everyone needs to be reminded that life is unquestioningly more enjoyable when you're not living inside an arbitrary set of rules created by people who are offended by all the wrong things.
