I know some of these got posted way back in the day but I can't recall if the whole set went up so here's my old FF6 Armor series where I tried to redesign the outfits for the characters into 17th century styles from various parts of Europe/Americas.

Yoshitaka Amano: Terra of Final Fantasy VI (1994)

I originally started a painting of Terra and then scrapped it only to start again. My second attempt! I wanted to depict Kefka putting the crown on her before the events of the game. Terra is a great character and it's satisfying to see her find herself. She's seriously awesome, and although I was considering just going with a cool pose, I wanted to do something a bit different.

I TOLD YA I WAS GOING TO FINISH IN TIME FOR HIS BDAY!!! This illustration is based on a scene from chapter 58 of this FFXV fanfic I've been reading, written by @groovytimetravelflower! On that chapter Ardyn gets really tired and decides he needs a giant cactuar plushie and some sleep lol
