Gooseworx didn't deactivate, she was banned
Recently, you cannot access Gooseworx's blog anymore, and people thought she deactivated her Tumblr. However, she was actually banned. When someone deactivates their main blog, a string of numbers and letters is attached to their username: "-deactivated[year][month][day]"
When you look at posts made by Gooseworx, there's no "deactivated" and no numbers
Some speculate that this might have been a sideblog, since there's no "deactivated" string if you delete a sideblog, but it was her main blog. You can't use sideblogs to like posts. If you search "Gooseworx liked this" on google, you will find proof ithat she liked multiple Tumblr posts.
All of this adds up to one thing: Gooseworx was banned from Tumblr. And why? Gooseworx is a trans woman, and Tumblr staff hates trans women and bans them for no reason, and also, there is an ongoing harassment campaign against Gooseworx, so I bet they must have mass-reported her blog and gotten her banned. Fuck the "tadc critical" community, anyone in the "anti tadc" or "anti gooseworx" tags is NOT to be trusted!!!!!! They weaponized staff's transmisogyny to ban a successful trans woman off the platform all because the show didn't end the way they wanted it to.
the absolutely demonic energy i just exposed myself to while blocking a bunch of blogs in the "tadc critical" tags.
simultaneously talking about gooseworx as if she has personally abused each and everyone one of them and also talking about her like an lolcow and just. i realize that most of these people are probably minors but like, it is such horrible energy truly horrible. on par with twerf blogs and im not being hyperbolic.
i think this is the funniest possible image that could be used to illustrate this subject
Meanwhile on tumblr

god i wish more sources talked about "sex" hormones like this
ironically its in a book about female sex anatomy that ive come across it (Vagina Obscura by Rachel E. Gross). everyone only wants to focus on the secondary sex characteristics and not the bazillion other functions of estrogen, testosterone, and co.
every body uses both of them!! for a million reasons!!!!! aaaaaa!!!!!!!

Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
There is a man in my neighbourhood. He doesn’t live here, he owns a building that his wife runs a business in. He lives in a more affluent city outside this one. This man fights *daily* against the community fridge, saying that it draws homeless people to the area. For context, I live in this neighbourhood, and work at a business two doors down from his wife's. This area has homeless people *regardless*. They were here before the fridge, and they'll be here after. Food-based businesses in the area love the fridge, it helps us not have waste and lets us help people in our community - win/win.
The city is currently building affordable housing down the street. These units are for people who have been homeless, and are putting their lives back together. They aren't *just* off the street - say that's level one of rebuilding. These units are for people around level four. They have found jobs, they are working to have normal lives again. This man is fighting against this with every breath in his body, lobbying the councillors, reps, endlessly screaming at the BIA (Business Improvement Association) meetings, canvassing other businesses on the street - he won't stop yelling about how this is just going to be a crack den. It isn't. It's supported housing that works with the city and programs. Everyone else knows this. But this cis white man, every time no one agrees with him, screams louder. He doesn’t want homeless people to be visible, and he does NOT want them to be helped to get homes.
The people who are gonna move into the building thus far are lucky that the majority of us in the neighbourhood are not like this man. But it's just luck. There are lots of neighbourhoods full of people like this man.
Once in a BIA meeting someone asked him if he'd be happier if the community fridge was moved two blocks down. He said emphatically yes.
Way to admit you just don't want to look at people you deem less than you. Oh and this guy also keeps arguing that the landlords in the neighborhood should have more say in decisions, that their opinions should outweigh mere residents'.
Y'all, I effing hate this guy. I want *him* to leave. Ugh.
you know, i don't remember
Chronic illness sucks because you’ll catch yourself thinking shit like ‘I wish it was possible to bathe regularly’ or ‘they should invent a digestive system that doesn’t hurt’ and then realise… that’s actually the case for most people. That’s the norm. Not only do most people have that, they don’t even think about it

I love getting unaccompanied minors (kids flying alone) who so clearly just. Don't want to be here lol. Sometimes I get to know a little of their story, like their parents are divorced, or a family member died and they're heading to the funeral, but usually they just don't want to talk about it and that's fine. But I always treat the flight like it's a challenge to make them smile. I offer them snacks and soda but that's never enough, that's whatever, they could get those from an airport vending machine. Chump change. So then I tell the worst jokes. Just the most embarrassing, kindergarten teacher, annoying dad jokes you can think of. And those always get a groan, or a "Seriously??" And that's my in! Now I can say "Why, what's your idea of a good joke? No, come on hotshot, make your best joke, let's see it." And they hem and they haw but of course they eventually tell me their very best joke because kids are little competitive comedy goldmines. And it's always super funny, so I laugh, and that's where they slip up. Because you know what you almost always do when your joke successfully makes someone laugh? You smile. And I'm like. Gotcha. Rookie move. Now you're going to end up having a good time in spite of yourself. I win.
Did this with an 11yo u.m. today and he said "What did the ghost say to the other ghost?" And I said "What?" "Nothing. Ghosts aren't real."
I'm literally a flight attendant, offering snacks and drinks is my job
i wish we were able to talk about women's rights without someone mentioning how much they do or don't want to have sex with them. i don't care if you're a lesbian Stop finding worth in women purely from their perceived attractiveness
"I think women should not be expected to shave for societal respect / to avoid discrimination" "yeah🤤 i love bush" ok well that's not what we're talking about is it.
i hate how many posts about trans women deserving respect always devolve into "I love girldick" or "trans rights but I don't want to date a trans person" because that's entirely unrelated to the topic at hand. you should not respond to feminism with "YESSS I loveeee you because I see you as nothing but a sex object" you people sound like other men I get stuck talking with that end up saying "free the nipple so I can see boobies in public" and thinking they're feminists. why can't we just respect women regardless of your attraction to them or not. why does it need to be brought up in every conversation regarding their rights
When I was diagnosed at age sixteen, after having one period in the eighth grade and then never again till a medically induced one my junior year of high school - my uterine lining measured in centimeters because it was so thick, my mother turned to me in the car. She was upset. Literal tears in her eyes. And she told me her friend had PCOS, but was still able to have kids. That this was still a possibility for me if I did injections and fertility treatments, etc. My mom had never asked me if I wanted kids, she just assumed.
My first conversation about PCOS with my new endocrine/OBGYN was about weight management and how that could improve my fertility when I eventually wanted kids. It wasn't asked what my goals were for my health or if I wanted kids, just assumed.
I was a hormonal, depressed mess. I hated my body. My body dysmorphia was so bad that I cloistered myself away from so much. I wore hoodies and jeans in the 90°F, 80% humidity summers. This was considered fine. I was given metformin and birth control pills and told this was all that could be done. That PCOS wouldn't affect my life until I wanted to be pregnant. I wasn't asked if I wanted to be pregnant, just assumed.
I don't know how many PCOS groups I joined on my early 20s hoping to find community and commonality for body dysmorphia and symptom management, only to be bombarded with fertility treatments and tips and 'inspirational conception' anecdotes. They never asked if I was attempting to conceive, just assumed.
It's a problem. It's been a problem. And thank god I learned to speak up and find medical professionals that would help me with *MY* goals. I shouldn't have had to, someone should have recognized the needs of that sixteen y.o. and protected her, but I can only hope the conversation changes as awareness increases.
"Even cis men?" is the obvious response to my stance that practically anyone can be lesbians, and to answer with another question: are any cis men actually doing that to begin with? I mean, unironically, not as a joke? Because I don't think they are. Generally cis men aren't not going to sincerely identify with the term the way cis women and trans people will. Cis men essentially self-regulate themselves out of the definition without anyone needing to make that definition have concrete limits.
Whether it's WLW, transmascs who drove through Dykeville to get where they are now, or anyone else, you should assume someone calling themselves a lesbian has a good reason for doing so.
The only “cis men” i knew to use the label are the ones who lamented “i wish i could be a lesbian but unfortunately im a cis man” approximately a month before Realizing something about themselves and I will always ALWAYS maintain that being gentle about what that could mean for them is the right answer and not “omg you’re trying to prey on lesbians”
The two types of people to “jokingly” identify as a label:
1. Asshole trying to be edgy. If youre mad they double down, if you go ok ill call you that, they freak out and distance themselves from the label
2. Someone trying to figure themselves out
In both scenarios, using what they insist they are brings out the best outcome, and assuming someone is a 1 when they are a 2 and being hostile will only (shockingly) make it harder for them to come to terms with their identity
and of course, i've said this before, but: if a cis man genuinely identifies with the label "lesbian" and is NOT joking about it, who cares? if someone feels like their attraction to women is queer even if they are ostensibly cisgender, that's none of my business and it's weird that people think it's theirs. what happened to the era of not asking people invasive questions about their gender, genitals, and sexuality?
Additionally- cis is a spectrum just as much as the rest of it. A cis guy could be like (imagine a pinched fingers emoji here) this close to being nonbinary such that the distinction is meaningless. A cis guy could be bigender about it, or agender about it, and still consider themselves cis enough to count. A cis guy could be a system, with girls in it. A cis guy could have an unusual romantic attraction, or particular sexual preferences or something, that fall more in line with lesbians than anything else. A cis guy can be drag queen for drag queen or something, and tbh that's not *not* lesbian imo.
Signs someone is about to ignore the compassion, queer nuance, complexity and 'language doesn't describe the world it creates the world' linguistic relativity of every part of this post to double down on "Well, I think lesbian SHOULD mean woman and I'm going to pretend that that is a neutral, objective opinion to have."
I will never trust a space that is inherently antagonistic to eggs by the way they behave. You are going to look me in the face and tell me you love queer people and trans people, yet you would love to take an egg and smash it so it dies? Yeah fuck off.
I don't know how to tell people that spiking an egg isn't queer or women's liberation, it's just cruel and continuing the cycle of abuse.
ID: a line of text reading, “so, words have meaning and in this age of illiteracy, I will,” before being cut off. End ID.

more people need to give themselves permission to write and draw pornography
it is virtuous and necessary that you write, draw, and distribute pornography
can we start with not conflating "erotic/sexual art or writing" with pornography
no lmao
be nicer to sex workers
u need to engage with sex workers as actual workers of the same class as u and not victims who need saving. u need to show respect for us publicly further than just reblogging our promos and posts abt giving us money. u need to publicly support full service workers. u need to not expose sex workers to ur puritanical, reactionary followers. u need to be nicer to sex workers.
