Yes, when the original post is deleted from the server (not just the blog, but the Tumblr servers), there is no root post for notes to be added onto, and also no root post for time to be counted from, so it starts from zero. Most computer operating systems use Unix, which was launched in 1971 with t.he epoch date of midnight on January 1, 1970 as 1. Therefore zero is one second behind that date: December 31, 1969. Also, very unfortunately, this also means nobody except you and anyone you reblog it to will see this explanation, as you cannot open the notes to see comments when there are no notes.

so the lore on this is patchy and spread across multiple games/decades obviously but it seems like gorons are more-or-less culturally a monogender. they don’t really have a concept of the gender binary at all, and almost everybody is “brother” “uncle” etc and uses he/him pronouns, but this is obviously just a linguistic stand-in and not descriptive of a gender role/identity, because, well, they don’t have assigned gender/sex. they literally physically don’t even reproduce in a traditional sense; gorons emerge out of the mountain side as living rock, and those relationships of “brother” etc are just analogues to people they emerged at roughly the same time or place as them rather than representative of the relationships we would describe as brothers/fathers/uncles.

My guess is that Gorons are all female to the Gerudo because Gerudo come from a culture where the default is female? just like how players tend to see them as male because that's the cultural default

Holy shit I just realized

This also makes the title track both about their namesakes having a romantic(?) day out, but also the artistic approaches they both embody. Both the pure abstract emotion from Agnes, but also pursuing beauty regardless of societal attitudes from Hilda. (my interp anyway)

The fact that the part representing Hilda in the album cover is a furry fits perfectly

"Some days I'm Agnes, but just as often I would rather be Hilda"

This in itself is beautiful, because it implicitly shows that there is in fact not a one perfect approach to art, but there are at least multiple that suit you at different times, and that's okay!

Whats even more wild though is that this implies an interplay between both approaches. DIFFERENT ARTISTIC MODES BEING THE SUBJECTS IN AN ART PIECE. AND THEM INTERACTING?? How cool is that???
