He groaned and rolled over to his side, facing his back to you.

You had a date tonight. With some guy who you were honestly not that into. So you agreed to his “wanna hang out tonight” text. He probably only wanted to hook up. Boring. And you’d definitely turn him down. But you needed something to do. Some entertainment.
Despite the level of disinterest you were still going to look nice. You needed some new make-up but of course you had no fucking money. You’d just have to ‘borrow’ some from the convenience store down the road. It’s not like you haven’t done it a million times. No one gets hurt. Not really a big deal.
Plus the little bursts of adrenaline you get during that final moment of walking through the censors was somewhat addictive if you were honest. Life in your town was so unbelievably boring. There weren’t even any good villains around to watch get beat up. You needed some sort of thrill to get through the day.
When you entered the store there were a few people around. No one you recognized luckily. You’d developed a little bit of a method to this game. You’d monitored the isles and cameras. No one was anywhere in sight. You’d managed to get a bunch of the good stuff and slip it into your sleeves and waistband without any eyebrows raised.
You were deciding on which eyeliner you wanted when an abrupt voice pierced you, making you jump.
“What’re you doing?”
“Huh?” You spun to look at the inevitable. Some employee or back room security man coming to take you to convenience store prison.
But when you saw the man peering down at you, you were far more scared. You wished it was an employee.
“Did I scare you?” His voice was thick with amusement and he rested an arm against the shelves.
You’d never seen a sight like him. Mildly horrifying. Staples lining his face, holding together sections of his skin, if you could call it all that. Spiked black hair over deep hooded eyes that looked like he hadn’t slept in weeks. He looked like he could easily kill you and nobody would find the body. But at the same time, for some reason, he was undeniably hot. You didn’t know how to reconcile his ominous vibe that he has with his playful, interested tone. It was like you’d just told him a joke. Except you hadn’t said a single word yet.
“What? You don’t want to talk to me?” He pressed with a smirk as he watched you gawk at him.
Your heart was racing in mild horror. But something about his tone struck a nerve. It felt like he was toying with you. And you hated that.
“Uh, who are you?” You said suddenly remembering where you were and just what you were doing. “Do you work here or something?”
“Does it look like I work here?”
He had a point. His absurd amount of piercings and his ripped jeans said he didn’t work anywhere respectable. However, the thick dark chained jewelry that weighed down his neck and wrists and the expensive sneakers on his feet said he had no problem getting money.
“You going out tonight?” He questioned, blatantly looking you up and down.
“What?” You spewed, feeling extremely self-conscious of his traveling eyes.
“I mean shit, with all the make-up and shit shoved in your pockets I just assumed...”
Your body froze. He’d caught you? Did he actually work here, was he lying? “...Not to mention the bottle of liquor you hid under your shirt...” How did he see that? You did have a small bottle of alcohol stashed in your bra but nobody was in any of the isles with you. You hadn’t seen him in the store at all since you’d arrived here, you definitely would have noticed him. “...If you’re going on a date you should really find a guy who can get all this stuff for you instead...”
Fear really started gripping you at these realizations. Plus he was minding no attention to his volume. He was basically outing you to the whole store. Your fear melted into anger. This fucker definitely didn’t work here. Just like you thought, he was fucking with you. Your temper started flaring up in your face making it hot.
“Shoplifting is the gateway drug to villainy you know. And that’s a rough world kid. I’m not sure if you could handle it...”
Kid? He looked barely older than you. And he was starting to get really annoying. At this rate he was going to get you caught.
“Speaking from experience?” You jutted back, looking around to see if any employees were hearing this.
He chuckled again. “No, I don’t do drugs.” He stated with a grin and a poor attempt at sounding sincere.
You scoffed. “I seriously doubt that.”
“Why—”
“Did you want something? Cause if not I’ve got somewhere to be.”
He looked at you for a moment. Soaking up the irritated look on your face. Dying to get away from him. Desperate not to get caught. It was cute. He merely shrugged. It was honest. He wasn’t sure exactly what he wanted from you yet.
The irritation now bubbling over, you huffed and walked away. What a waste of time. Surely you look suspicious now. You were monitoring the isles as you headed to the door. No one seemed to be looking. You were about to make a run for it when you heard some footsteps directly behind you and felt eyes on the back of your head.
“The alarms are going to go off.”
You hissed, dipping into a snack isle as an employee’s head started turning in your direction. Why was he talking so fucking loud?
“Can you shut up?”
He put a hand over his heart dramatically. “Is that how you repay me for trying to help you?”
“Help me?! You’re going to get me caught. So can you just fuck off—”
“Oy.” He growled. Sending a wave a intimidation to wash away any bit of confidence you had mustered up. “Go ahead and walk out the door then if you want. Fucking amateur.”
You were about to run but self-doubt washed over you. He did seem like he’d know about this better than you.
Mid-thought, his movements shocked you. He was standing so closely now, with that same face of complete intimidation as before. His eyes steady on your features, not breaking away for a moment. Without even having to look, he slowly slipped his fingers under your shirt. You weren’t even breathing at this point as your heart started throwing itself around your chest. If it were anyone else you’d immediately deck him for touching you like this but for some reason he felt like a near death experience. He had you completely frozen in fear and adrenaline, victim to whatever he wanted to do to you. His fingers were warm as they grazed the skin on your stomach, sending streaks of electricity to the part of your brain that was sounding off warning alarms. He pulled the bottle of alcohol out slowly from your bra.
He smirked as you stared at him wide-eyed. Like he’d just blown some fuses in your brain.
He turned the bottle so you could see a little black tag on the bottom. You hadn’t noticed it before.
“A sensor. They’re new.” Was all he had to say and you knew you had almost completely fucked up. You were beating your head against a wall knowing you’d have to acknowledge this guy was right. Except the look on his face told you he was already enjoying every second of this.
“Okay, fuck, you got me. You were right.” You said suddenly exploding. Your mind was overloading with information. You’d expected this to be a simple thing. And this asshole just shows up out of nowhere for no reason.
“You’re supposed to say thank you.”
You scoffed. “For what? You gonna buy it for me or something?”
He considered this for a moment. “No.”
You shot him a incredulous look. “The fuck? Then what do you want?”
“Honestly it was painful watching you attempt this half-assed little petty theft.”
“Well sorry to dissapp—”
“And despite this nasty little attitude you’ve got...” He continued with a devious grin. “I’m gonna show you how it’s really done.”
“How what’s done? Taking make-up?”
“Robbery.” He deadpanned.
Your insides exploded now. You didn’t even bother mistaking that for a joke.
“Um no—”

“It’s either this or I’ll call over that guy.” He pointed to an unknowing employee stocking shelves. “And show him this.” He yanked up your shirt now to expose all the shit you had tucked into your waistband and bra.
You hissed again, yanking your shirt down, but words drained out of your brain. He was seriously dangerous. It was written all over that amused look on his face as he watched your face go red from him being under your shirt twice already after meeting him literally five minutes ago.
You felt like he’d sucked the air out of the room. How was nobody hearing this? How had you fallen into this psycho’s trap?
“Fuck.” Slipped out under your breath.

The guy jerked back at the sight of it. “The fuck?”
You gasped as he put his hand up and a blast of blue flames shot out. You could feel the heat from where you were standing behind him.
“Just give us the cash and I won’t do anything crazy. Okay?”
The guy stood like a deer in headlights. Unable to process anything as fear washed over him. You could relate. The blue flame was mirroring in your eyes as you stared at it in shock. The alarms still blaring in your ears.

“Well can you hold on that for like five minutes. We still have something to do.”
“Huh?” You cried desperately.
“Get the fuck out of here before those cops come looking for us.”
He led you down the creepy dark alleyways until you could barely hear the police sirens in the background.

“Yes actually she is. She just doesn’t know it yet.” He said in a pretend whisper with a wink. The little boy giggled. Excited to be in on his teacher’s secret plan. You just slapped his shoulder at the lie. Exchanging smiles with the parents who were clearly adoring the young love romanticization Suga was spinning.
Much to the his relief the parents made the boy say goodbye and pulled him away.
You waited until they turned the corner to let out the snicker you’d been holding in.
Suga, not yet moving the basket he was hiding behind turned to you with a sarcastic face. “You thought that was funny huh?”
You nodded. Laughing even more.
“That was your fault you know.” Before you got the chance to argue he moved the basket and headed back for you. “I’m just glad they didn’t see this cause that would have been a super awkward parent-teacher conference next week.” He said with a grimace.
“Yea well that’s what you get for acting like a teenager in a store!”

“C’mon.” He said turning on his heels and heading in the direction you came.
He always walked with his hands in his pockets and leaning back on his heels like he was never in a rush for anyone or anything. Somehow he always had that calm and collected aura about him, like absolutely nothing you threw at him could faze him. It was attractive as hell and the exact reason why you were following him. You were sort of excited to see this play out.
Mineta v. Shinsou
Finally you rounded the corner to find Mineta still camped outside the locker room facing the door.
You scoffed in disgust. Your eyes zeroed in on the camera in grubby little his hands.
Shinsou gently put his arm out against your stomach to motion for you to wait there as he neared him.
You were nervous, anxious, excited.
“Hey 1-A.” Shinsou’s voice was casual but scarily unfriendly. “How’s it going?”
Mineta turned to him. Not noticing you standing in the background.
“Oh err hi Shinsou.” He said unexpectingly.
“Someone asked me to come find you and tell you something.”
“Really?” His nasally voice sounded pathetic in comparison to Shinsou’s smooth sultry one.
“Yea. But I think they were too nice. So I’m going to embellish a little on their behalf.”
“Uhh—?”
“What the fuck are you doing?” His voice was still so casual if you didn’t see the deadly serious look on his face you’d think he was chatting it up with a friend.
Your heart started racing. He didn’t seem this upset earlier!

“I should kick your ass man. Maybe report you so you’d never make it as a hero. But instead I think I’ll—”
“Shinsou wait dude—“ he was trembling.
Shinsou hadn’t even moved an inch. And he was still easily six feet away from him, his hands relaxed in his pockets. But he was all dark intimidation. Just his glare was throwing Mineta into a panic attack.
“Okay I’m sorry!! I didn’t mean to do it!” The offender started bawling.
Shinsou chuckled with no humor.
“How does one ‘accidentally’ take a picture up someone’s skirt?”
No response.
“What? Now you forgot how to answer a simple question?”
Mineta had to wipe some snot from his nose before speaking again. “I—“
He abruptly ceased trembling and his eyes went blank.
You gasped. Shinsou was using his quirk on him!?
“Y/n close your eyes.” He instructed you softly.
The alarm was going off in your head.
“What?! What are you—” You whispered loudly.
“Please? Quickly.” His voice was sharply contrasted to the way he’d been scaring Mineta.
You slapped both hands over your eyes. Praying that you weren’t about to hear a murder.
Your heart and your breathing were so loud you almost couldn’t hear them over your own panic.
“Strip.” He instructed his victim. “All the way down.”

You heard fabric rustling. Mineta however wasn’t making a sound.

Shinsou started speaking much lower now but you didn’t need to hear to guess what Mineta was putting his sock over right now.
You shuttered at the thought.
After a few moments of agonizing waiting in silence, dying to know what was going on, you yelped at the touch of a hand on the small of your back.
“Shhh. Keep these closed.” Shinsou urged as his large hand slid over both yours as a reinforcement.
He whisked you away with haste, trying to stifle his laugh as you two shuffled through the hall.
“Shinsou!!! Are you crazy?!” You whisper yelled as you flew.
He laughed more in response. “Probably.”
Just then several guys shrieked loudly from the direction you came.
Immediately recognizing it as Denki and Sero. You heard them screaming a couple “what the fuck”s at whatever god awful sight Shinsou had left them.
“Kaminari!” You said, another wave of panick flushing through you.
But then Denki and Sero’s hysterical laughter filled the halls as Mineta, who must have came to life again, started shrieking and sobbing.
A second later you heard Mina and Hagakure screaming and yelling at Mineta to put his clothes back on.

Soon they were almost out of earshot as Shinsou’s arm that was wrapped around your waist wrangled you to a hault. Your hands slapped with cold from the absence of his warmth as he took his reinforcement hand away.
“Okay. You can open your eyes now.” He said not at all breathless from fleeing the scene like you were.
You slowly opened your eyes to find Shinsou signature sleepy eyes peering down at you. His face was only a few inches away as you two were tucked inside a doorframe. He was pretty. Even prettier this close.

You rolled your eyes and gave it a better kick, to his satisfaction. He chucked the SD card in a garbage can and picked up the mangled camera.
“Let’s go see if that 1-A phone charger is still laughing.” He said grabbing your hand and tugging you along with him. “Plus...” he wiggled the camera, “I have to give Mineta his property back.”
You snorted. “I don’t think he’ll be getting within fifty feet of you any time soon. Good luck chasing him down.”
He grew a wicked grin at the thought. “Should be fun.”
He whisked you away faster and you both flew down the hall cheesing at what had easily become one of your favorite memories together at UA.

Someone had bought you a really big snuggly blanket as a gift and it had become your new favorite thing.
All day you’d be looking forward to getting home and curling up into it.
Bokuto didn’t mind at first. He loved seeing you so happy. But after a while he felt like he was getting replaced.
Before he was your blanket, the thing you looked forward to snuggling with. And now that stupid fuzzy thing was hogging you.
He thought he’d sneakily escaped it by inviting you to come to his place....but you brought it with you!!! Into his territory!!!
You immediately noticed something was up when you sat down to watch the movie and he sat in the farthest corner of the couch, hugging his knees and pouting.
“Kou? What’s wrong?”
He sighed dramatically. “Nothing.”
“Kooou....tell me.”
He considered for a moment. But when he looked at you, you were still wrapped up in his arch nemesis. Traitor.
“Oh nothing. Just seems like you’d rather cuddle with someone else these days.” He said completely wilted.
“What?” You were blown. No idea what he was referring to.
But then he pointed at your blanket wrapped around you.
“That.” He hissed.
You nearly burst into laughter.
“Seriously?”
“Dont laugh!” He whined. His bottom lip jutting out.
“Do you want me to put it away?”
He nodded with watered eyes.
“Okay fine. Now make room for me!” You said as you threw the blanket off you. You tackled him and smothered him with kisses.
He embraced you with open arms and a cheesy grin. Immediately giddy and squealing with delight.
“I never want to see that thing again. Burn it.” He warned.
“How about I just leave it in my room.”
“Fine.” He said as he squeezed you in a hug so tight you couldn’t breathe and stared hungrily kissing your neck. He missed you.

But he didn’t know that when he bought you your own gaming system and new games that you’d like them so much.
You played just as much as him almost. You even started a stream and had some followers. It was nice that you were having fun and taking interest in his hobbies. But when he would end his streams you were always still on yours.
He’d have to make dinner and eat alone. Lonely.
He’d come in and check on you in the gaming room and you’d be chatting away with your teammates. Getting kills...without him.
One night when you finally tore yourself away from the screen to eat dinner with him, he couldn’t keep his thoughts to himself anymore.
“So....seems like you’ve been enjoying your games a lot.” You noticed he was barely touching his food.
“Yesss. Thanks again babe. It’s been so fun. Now I know why you’re so obsessed with them.”
“Mhm.” He said looking away from you. The passive aggressiveness was more intense than usual.
“Mhm? Why mhm?”
“I think you’re more obsessed than me now...” he said nonchalantly.
You laughed. That’s absurd. Coming from this one.
“What’s this about babe?”
He paused for a minute. “You spend more time playing than with me now.” He said drawing circles on the table.
You were stunned. He never complained about anything relationship wise. He was so low maintenance.
You giggled. “Ahhh. Getting a taste of your own medicine huh Ken?” You teased as you scooted closer to him.
Realizing quickly that this was his form of pouting.
He sighed at your teasing, feeling embarrassed. “Yea well, it’s not a big deal or whatever. I’m just saying.” He said in his best unfazed voice.
You brushed some hair out of his eyes and pulled his chin to look at you. His pink lips were set in the tiniest little frown.
“You could have just asked me to turn the game off whenever you wanted to you know. I’m not actually addicted to them like someone.”
He smiled. Knowing full well that he had a problem. But that you weren’t it.
“Well now I know.” He said quietly, nuzzling his cheek against your hand.
“Good. Cause I missed you too.”
You climbed onto his lap, straddling him and giving him a big hug. Snuggling your face into his.
“Wow Ken. I kind of like this side of you. You’re so cute when you’re jealous.”
“I was not.” he protested.
“You were too.”
“Was not.”
“Were too.”
“Was not.....”
“Were too...”

An anime character. One of the hot ones from your new show you’ve been obsessed with.
Every waking moment your eyes were glued to your screen watching the next episode.
Even when you guys were hanging out he’d be subjected to hearing the guy’s voice in the background and you giggling at his shitty jokes.
I mean jeez at this point he could be chopped liver. Were his muscles not big enough? He was way taller than that guy. (He knows cause he looked it up)
“Wow, he’s hot.” He said mockingly as you stared at your anime crush with hearts in your eyes during yet another shirtless scene.
“I know right?” You poked back. Kuroo was always baiting you. You’d gotten really good at taunting back without having to think much about it.
He scoffed. “His hair is stupid.”
“Yea yea bed head.” You said giggling. Eyes still glued.
But that one was personal. He abruptly stood up and walked into the other room to lay in his bed and pout without you seeing.
But you knew that little upset tone of his too well. You followed him into his room to find him laying face down into a pillow.
“What are you doing?” You said as you crawled onto him. Sitting on his butt.
“Getting ignored.” His voice muffled.
“Ignored by who!?”
You were running you hands under his shirt, up and down his back. You loved feeling his muscles and he loved massages. Perfect match.
“You! And stop feeling on my muscles. Go touch your new boyfriend’s.”
You could not hold back your laugh. He was so dramatic sometimes.
“Oh my god. This is definitely your best joke yet.”
He knew he sounded ridiculous. But you were proving that a human could actually simp for an anime character! So who was the actually ridiculous one here...
“You’re the one obsessed with a fictional character...”
You groaned. “Shut up! You know I’m only obsessed with you.” You started tugging his shoulder to get him to roll over.
“Yeaa I’m not convinced.”
“Well then turn over and I’ll convince you.”
He paused. Calculating his next move. Easy decision, he rolled over and sat you back on top of his hips.
“I’m interested.” He said with a cocked eyebrow.
You laid down on him and started kissing his face.
“Your muscles are the only ones I want to feel on.” You cooed in his ear like it was a love song.
“That’s much better.” He said with one of his famous shit-eating grins.
“Unless...you were down for a three-some or something.”
Your teasing was a dagger to his heart. He slapped your ass so hard it stung.
You whined. “Ouch Kuroo! That hurt.”
“Only a small taste of the way you hurt me.” He said dramatically as he started to kiss you. Deepening it by the second. He was going to make sure you forgot about that dumb ass character.

You’d think there would be a limit to the amount of awkwardness one person could take. But the amount of painful silence that endured between you and your classmate Kageyama at the vending machines everyday was endless. No matter how much you hoped he’d say something to you, he never did. He probably thought you were a major freak for always standing there so awkwardly. That or he didn’t even notice you. Barely even gave you a glance sometimes.
The first time you saw him was on the first day of school. He was so tall and with a lean muscular body all the first year girls were drooling over. With a flop of shiny black hair falling into his eyes. You instantly fell hard. Literally. You fell into a desk while staring at him as he walked by.
As the year went by he rarely spoke and was always falling asleep during class. He didn’t have many friends and never hung out with the class after school. He’d always run off, disappearing into that volleyball gym.
He was so aloof and scarce, if you weren’t diligent eone would never get to see him to stare at him in peace. Except you knew his favorite place in school (besides the volleyball gym). The vending machines. Surely it was his favorite. He’d go there every day. Sometimes a few times a day. You initially would just sneak over and watch him from around the corner. His long fingers slipping some coins into the cash intake. He had to bend over so much to reach the dispensers at the bottom since his long legs pushed him so far up from the ground. He wouldn’t even wait to walk away before cracking the straw open and stuffing it into the box. After a few big gulps he’d finish the drink while staring out the windows. Every day. Same routine. And you were content with watching him from afar. Observing his mysteriously calm and uninterested facial expressions as he lived his silent life. Just the idea of trying to talk to him sent you into a panic. What if he thought you were ridiculous for even thinking he’d be interested in you. I mean jeez just look at him. No. You were content with your daydreams and secret crush.
Until one day his teammate Tsukishima caught you creeping on him. He teased you so ruthlessly for stalking and being even remotely interested in someone “as dense as Kageyama”. But he was right. Not about the perfection of a human you were crushing on but about your odd creeping habits.
A few days later you finally mustered up the courage to walk over to him. You were going to ask him how he was. Or maybe if he’s enjoying class. No that’s stupid. You’d ask him about volleyball.
But your mind fell blank and your tongue froze as he looked at you over his shoulder. You’d surprised him. Nobody else every used these vending machines. Especially not pretty girls. Had you been standing there long? He must have been in your way.
“Uhh..sorry.” He said awkwardly. His voice was like heaven from this distance. You’d never heard it so clearly. So deep and soft.
You were so entranced that you didn’t even notice he’d scurried away.
You were hopeless. You didn’t even make a peep. And every day grew more and more painful as you’d use the neighboring vending machine and never manage to say a word.
The awkward silence was deafening but it’s like you had no voice. His presence was so intense. Especially since he towered over you. Most of the girls find him scary even. Which, much to your relief, means you didn’t have to deal with too many girls fawning over him. And it didn’t seem like he took interest in anyone. It gave you hope but what good was that when you were a coward.
Today was no different than usual. You’d done this so many times you had his timing down like clockwork. He was going to walk up any second now. Buy his drink and then walk away. Barely knowing you even exist. All you wanted was to say hi. And you could die happy knowing Kageyama Tobio knew you existed.
You reached your hand to put your coins in the machine when you heard “uhhh excuse me.” From his deep soft voice.
Your whole body was stunned. Only your head managed to slowly creak towards the direction of the pure bliss that had just graced your ears.
It was him. Deep blue eyes looking directly at you under a tuft of silky black hair. His cheeks were red and he was stiff as a board, as if he were standing in front of a whole stadium, not one small tiny unworthy bean like yourself.
“I um...bought this.” He squeaked out shyly. “For you. I bought it for you if you wanted it.”
His long slender fingers were wrapped around your favorite drink from the vending machine. Offering it to you.
“Huh?” You gasped quietly in embarrassment. “Really?”
He gave you a sharp nod.
“Oh. Thank you.” You meeked out in complete surprise. Your fingers grazed his soft skin as you took the drink from him. He immediately retracted his hand at the touch.
“Sorry.” He blurted out again with a sharp bow.
He stood back up and his face was riddled with panic. Like he hadn’t planned this far through the interaction. You were staring at him with doe eyes and the cutest look on your face. You must think he was so weird for ambushing you like this.
Before you could say anything more he zoomed off. Speed walking as quickly as possible to escape his own embarrassment.
You were frozen in place for at least the next ten seconds. You were so taken off guard. He’d spoke to you. You’d waited all year for this. It happened so fast.
After the realization sank in, you melted into a puddle. Right there in front of the vending machines. Surely somebody was going to have to come mop you up.
Just when you’d mustered up the brain capacity to move again, deep blue eyes appeared in your line of sight again. His brows were furrowed in concentration.
He was still stiff as a board but he’d manage to calm down some now.
“Sorry for running away...uh like that. I’m uh Kageyama Tobio.” He said and stuck his hand out. As if you hadn’t stalked him everyday and observed his every movement since you first laid eyes on him.
Speechless. You took his hand. It completely engulfed yours, perfectly molding around your palm. His hold on you was gentle and hesitant.
Forgetting to let your hand go, he hurried into his next rehearsed question. “What’s your name?”
All you’d wished for was him to know you existed so you could die peacefully. Now he wanted to know your name too? Your next three reincarnations could die peacefully at this point.
“I’m y/n.” You managed to squeak out.
“Thats...that’s a pretty name.” He squeaked back with an awkward little smile.
He was trying so hard to look cool. To make you think he wasn’t a complete loser. But he was sure he was failing miserably.
Little did he know that he was shattering your entire world right now. Your legs were about to give out any second now.
Your heart started racing. His smile was so cute.
Realizing your palms were getting sweaty you panicked. He was still holding your hand! He was going to think you were gross. You tried to tug your hand away but to your surprise he didn’t let go.
Realizing his grip his eyes widened in horror. Yes he wanted to hold your hand but not like that! Like normal—like if you guys went on a date. Not when he freaking shook your hand for the first time! Mentally he was banging his head against the wall.
He snapped his hand away. His body growing even more tense from pure embarrassment. “I’m so sorry.” He said hating himself.
You giggled nervously. Cuteness was overloading you. “That’s okay.” You said desperately trying to soothe him and yourself.
He was about to explode now. His secret crush was laughing at him. God this couldn’t be any worse.
But he was saved by the bell.
You both looked up and the sound. Breaking the awkward silence.
“Well...” you said, your voice shaking from the nerves.
“You’re going to be here tomorrow right?” He pointed at the vending machines. “Like here here?”
You nodded. Unable to stop yourself from smiling at his implication.
He smiled back, his cheeks bright red. Happiness lit up his eyes from your response.
“Good—See you then.”
“See you.” You said with a little wave.
He gave you another sharp bow and shuffled off.
You finally exhaled a breath you didn’t realize you were holding.
He waited until he rounded the corner to do a little happy dance. It took him months of practicing to work up the nerve to say hi to you. And that cute smile you’d given him, which would occupy his day dreams for the next six month, made him think he didn’t do too bad after all.
