Hello! I see that you ship Nozessa a lot and honestly, the way you write them is truly amazing, it actually makes me ship it, even though I have other ships with them. So, why do you love them and will you continue to write them? What about fanarts?
First of all, thank you for your kind words, they really brought a huge smile upon me. And I'm glad you came to like Nozessa through my fics. I know it's not everyone's taste, like no ship is everyone's taste, and I know myself a good bunch of other ships with them, some of them I like even. But Nozessa is my fav for both Nozel and Vanessa.
Why I love Nozessa?
That is a good question. Ironically, when I got into Black Clover for the first time, I didn't shipped them and I don't think I had a ship for each of them individually? At least for Vanessa, I learned about Nozel being shipped with Fuegoleon pretty early on.
But then, I stumbled upon them through some fanfics on Ao3. And I was lucky that the stories I found about them were really good, that I came to realize their dynamic. And this is how I started to ship them.
They grew as my OTP very quickly. It's a bit hard to explain, but they have vibes that truly appeal to me. Their different statuses for starters, he is a royal and she is a witch. And as we know in Black Clover, witches aren't put on the same level as royals and nobles, but in a way, they're not peasants or commoners either. That alone makes it a very fascinating dynamic.
Of course, Vanessa is technically speaking the daughter of the Witch Queen, so maybe she is royalty too? But at the same time, the Witch Queen calls all of the witches her daughters in a way, so who knows if Vanessa is her biological daughter or not. And the Witches Forest doesn't work like the society of Clover, so we can't be sure if it counts.
Plus, they have different personalities and this always gives an interesting dynamic. Nozel and Vanessa are a type of grumpy/sunshine ship, for which I always have a soft spot for. Plus they both deal with their respective traumas differently.
Yet funny enough, there are some similarities between them. The cage for example. Vanessa was in a literal cage, yet in a way Nozel was in a cage as well when his mother died, a cage he put himself in. Not to mention that both had their lives very shaped by their mothers, although in different ways. Nozel lost his mother and was very close to her, Vanessas mother lives and they're not close. This detail makes their dynamic also very interesting.
Plus, I headcanon that both are romantic people. Nozel doesn't show it as much as Vanessa, obviously, but I think once together, they wouldn't mind to be kind of mushy with each other.
How they would get together is the big question, of course, with ships like that. Well, one thing to say, them starting to date would only work post Nozels apology to Noelle, not before.
(except if they have some kind of fling in secret, which can be possible, but that's another topic for me^^')
There is the whole topic with how the Silvas treated Noelle and the fact that the Black Bulls are very protective of her, Vanessa being one of the most protective as being Noelles big sister figure.
But I still think that it would work, because Nozel is genuinely trying to be better and Vanessa is not a Black Bull to be petty and hold grudges. Knowing her, I think she would aknowledge Nozels efforts of making amends and giving him a chance, especially if Noelle forgives him and gives him a chance. And that kind of forgiveness, redemption and giving chances in a ship is also something I have a soft spot for.
Will I do fanarts and more fanfics for Nozessa?
Sadly, I can't do fanarts myself, my art is in writing not drawing. And Nozessa is not very represented in the fanart side of the fandom, so I sometimes either put two anime frames together or I use picrew, like you see with those two examples above.
And thankfully, there are still some really good Nozessa fanarts in the fandom and I cherish each one I find. My favorites are those two by @yellowgreendino (one is the remake of the other, but I love both), this one by @mitchmitmy, this one by @mouxesaint (she made quite a bunch of Nozessa fanarts) and this one by @kalolasfantasyworld.
As for fanfics, of course I will continue. I have a good bunch I'm currently writing, others I have finished (mostly oneshots) and some that are either wips or in vague planning. So yeah, I'm not yet finished.
And there are also cool Nozessa fanfics from other authors. If you want, I will make you a list.
