you know how rams sometimes have their horns grow so much they impale themselves? well sometimes angels who spend too much time hanging around demons to smoke weed or fuck or whatever will often have little budding horns start to grow out of their heads. and if left unattended, the horns will keep growing until they pierce the halo. this of course fucks with the receiving power of the halo, making their connection to divinity weak and warbled, causing them to become really manic and strange and obsessive. the cool thing is that the halo will stay there, long after the light fades, embedded within the horns. and like this it serves as a great hook point for leashes and ropes and shit, and it’s fun cus it’s still extremely sensitive lol
