Until recently, I did not want to raise a political topic here - in my little world with my favorite anime and films - but the situation requires it, sorry.
Many people know what is happening in Ukraine now: Russia "announced a special military operation." No. Russia simply declared war on another country. I myself live in Russia and it hurts me very much that it was my country that attacked another, defenseless people, their homes.
Unfortunately, in the Russian news they are trying to whitewash Russia, making it look like we are helping. But I see everything from the other side - I communicate with those people who live there, and what is happening there is simply terrible - houses are destroyed, people are dying - both military and civilians!
For all those to whom, after this message, I will seem like a traitor to my homeland - I love my country, but I do not want to recognize the government in our country if its choice is war!
I am a pacifist and it hurts me to see people suffer.
As for the inhabitants of our country, our military - guys, I also worry about them. Believe me, many are called without their will. Just like in Ukraine, they call on people of any age to defend their country.
We should not be held responsible for the choices of our authorities
Nobody wants war in Russia. I want this to end as soon as possible. I am very worried about my friends who are now there - in bomb shelters or outside the city, hiding from bombs and sirens. I see how many countries support Ukraine by going to rallies. Our country is reproached for not fighting for their freedom and the freedom of Ukraine, but this is not true. Personally, in Instagram stories, I repeatedly publish articles or videos about events in Ukraine. Who lives in Russia knows that if we go to rallies, we will be arrested and imprisoned. Just because we have our own opinion. Just because we do not agree with the authorities. People are fired from their jobs, websites, programs and shows are closed, and all just because of the call to stop the war.
I want every country in the world to never have a war again.
Please stop the war!
