Sometimes, when I come home, I hear my grandma muttering in her bedroom. She’s praying. She prays for my family, because we don’t (we’re atheist), she prays for my uncle, because he can’t (he has a mental disability) and I think she prays for other things too, like goodness and peace.

I don’t understand how she believes it will make any difference, but I find it’s a lovely sentiment regardless. I hope it brings her comfort and peace of mind.
