I love how Lestat threw a dig at Daniel that Armand pretended to let him win, and that he wasn't really blinded by his love for Louis, and Daniel immediately got stuck on it.

Armand is trying to say "The great conversion, Daniel! It's coming" and Daniel is immediately like "Forget that, did you let me win?"

And Armand is immediately taken aback. I feel like Daniel will become even more fascinating to him now that he can't read his thoughts anymore.

(Also, the fact that it was Lestat that planted the seed that Armand's love for Louis was the only thing that could've distracted him, and Daniel immediately gets stuck on that.)

I bet people who watch the show and don't engage with the fandom are so confused about devil's minion.

I've seen mutiple reactors be like "??? what did he mean by that" when it came to "Armand's love" scene. And while the show is subtle about it so far, the cast in the interviews is definitely NOT.

Assad casually saying "Yup, Armand was blinded by his love for Daniel, not Louis" and Eric giving that entire "Armand loves Daniel like a kid loves their stuffed animal" explanation.

I bet people stumbled onto those interviews and immediately went "Armand loved Daniel??? Since when??? Didn't he turn him out of spite???"

I am slightly jealous they get to experience the reveal of it all. Jaws will be on the floor.
