Father Shares Heartbreaking Photo of Daughter, 4, in Final Stages of Cancer Battle. Doctors treating Jessica Whelan, 4, of Clayton-Le-Moors, England, say she has only months to live. According to a Facebook post by her father that has gone viral, Jessica is suffering from stage four Neuro-blastoma, an aggressive cancer of the nervous system. Last month, an exam showed the cancer was no longer responding to treatments. Andy, a photographer, decided to shed light on the darkest moment in his life by posting a recent photo of Jessica. In it, she appears to be in agony. "My only aim of this image was to highlight the true face of childhood cancer and not the happy smiling bald headed face of a child showing hope that is often portrayed by media. Yes it is heartbreaking but this is reality... I had a massive battle with myself to both take and show this photo, not knowing if it should be shown to others. From the messages, comments and shares it has has had I now know I was right to do so," wrote Andy. We get that you want us to quit smoking. So now we have, or many want to, and you want to tax our only effective smoking cessation method. Nobody wants to tax Nicoderm or Nicorette, and the pharmaceutical companies are raking in the profits off of methods they know don't work. Then they get us again in the end because we keep smoking and have to buy their cancer medications. This tax was not written well. NOBODY wants kids or adults to smoke. But Prop 56 will do the opposite and keep people smoking by making their only effective cessation method out of reach by driving the costs up even higher than cigarettes. Let's clarify, we FULLY support the legalization of marijuana, but NOT under this bill #Prop64 ✖️ Why? Because this bill, was rushed and will have a negative impact on this industry in California. If this bill passes in November, it will bring back the black market for marijuana in California. Right now, we are all in a "grey" area meaning there is a lot of leeway and the industry has a loopholes that benefit us. However, this bill will cripple small operations who have devoted their entire life savings to providing QUALITY medicine for the patients. This bill will also NOT significantly increase tax revenue because most marijuana grower associations oppose it.
