My one super saucy Vilphon headcanon is that they bite each other. A lot. But mostly Psyphon with those fangs of his. In my mind Calbreu bite the ever loving heck out of each other and let it scar over as a signal to others that they are very much taken. He's bitten every square inch of Vilgax's neck but you can't see it under his freaking tentacle beard

My less saucy headcanon is that Vilgax ADORES how pretty Psyphon is under his suit. I've been meaning to draw what I think his stripes look like all over and I like to imagine Vilgax traces them with his fingers or maybe gives em a lil smoochie :3

And my least saucy headcanon is that Psyphon likes horn scritches and sometimes Vilgax indulges him just to see the tension leave his shoulders ♡

I also like imagining they balance out the savagery and the tenderness of their relationship by sparring until one of them (usually Psyphon just because he is simply Not As Strong As Vilgax) is too injured to keep going, and then they spend time tending to each other's wounds and just talking to one another before going back to work ♡

Another thing I like to imagine is if there was a fight, right, and Psyphon was somehow incapacitated, Vilgax would track him down after the conquest is over and take him back to the ship himself. It looks like apathy bc he'd carry him under an arm or over a shoulder, but once back on the ship, he'd be high key monitoring Psyphon's recovery from the bridge, getting updates to his personal console with a perfectly calm air about him bc he knows Psyphon is too stubborn to stay down, just like he is, but also, his darling!! His darling is HURT!!!!!

They never say I love you because that's weak baby stuff, but they show it in their actions instead: Psyphon toiling over new gadgets and weapons and having internal panic attacks over failing Vilgax, who will never let Psyphon go, never abandon him, never let death take him away
