I think Nancy would genuinely go insane. I love the idea of Nancy being so terrified of losing Robin due to what happened to Barb, and being in a situation where she was close to losing her might genuinely send her into a kind of terrified psychosis. Whatever hurt Robin definitely wouldn’t be breathing for much longer. I also think that might be the final push that she needed to admit to herself (and even to Robin) how she feels about her.

Robin would feel so helpless if Nancy got injured. She’d definitely find a way to spin it so it was her fault, even though Nancy’s lowkey suicidal ass definitely threw herself in danger. Robin would be terrified of hurting her more, but also so desperate to ensure that she’s not gonna lose her completely. I can also see Nancy, dazed from the pain, hitting on Robin meanwhile Robin has absolutely no clue because she’s freaking out so badly and her brain feels like it’s filled with bees and she’s just trying to keep Nancy alive with her very limited knowledge of combat first aid.

Like imagine Nancy’s last request is for Robin to kiss her so she ‘won’t die not knowing what it feels like’ and Robins staring at her like ‘you’re actively bleeding out, are you INSANE?’ and then Nancy survives and is so embarrassed (but definitely replaying the kiss that Robin definitely caved in and gave her over and over in her head)

I love the idea that Robin is Mike’s favorite out of the group of older kids. She’s cool and alt and funny and very unapologetically herself. But she definitely loses some cool points when he realizes how whipped she is for his sister

So I hold the probably unpopular opinion that I… kinda… didn’t really want Ronance to become canon in s5 🫣 I talked about it a lil in another post where I was talking about what I would change in s5 but, basically, I think a lot would have needed to be changed throughout the seasons in order for them to get the romance plotline that they deserved. Just because I would hate for their story to feel underdeveloped or rushed (ahem like what the writers did to Rovickie). Like don’t get me wrong I would’ve been absolutely ecstatic but I want my girls to be treated right and there was just no way the writers were gonna do that for them.

That being said, I would 100% eat up a version of the story where those little moments of tension and chemistry (like the library scene, Pennhurst, ‘are we friends? as in officially’, the lovers lake scene, and robin kneeling for nancy were actually utilized by the writers and turned into the love story we all saw the potential for. Destroy the stupid love triangle once and for all.
