No. No. That’s not what he wanted him to do. Like at all. Nowhere do they say that Luke needed to kill Vader. They said Vader, you must confront Vader. Nowhere did it say murder him. They were saying that Vader was going to confront him. That wasn’t inevitability, but Luke was the one who assumed that it meant killing him. They were just saying that there was the possibility that he would be confronted with Vader and he would have to defend himself. Luke chose the Jedi path. He chose to give up his attachment to his father and his natural obsession to bring him down. To kill Vader would not have been the path of the dark side. Giving into his hatred and anger would’ve been. And I say it again nobody understands attachments. People attachments is unnatural obsession. It’s not something healthy and it’s not something you should be encouraging. It Buddhism means an unnatural fixation on something that leads you away from the path of enlightenment and away from spiritual enlightenment. If you wanna go into the western route in Christianity, which is another thing that Jedi are based off of it is a personal fault that leads you away from God that causes you to be selfish and prioritize your own selfish needs over the good of yourself spiritually and the good of other spiritually.

seeing edmund in the horse and his boy is so much fun because going off of cs lewis's timeline he's here he's like 24 years old and he's been put in charge of a 12 year old who does NOT want to be put in anyones charge and you first meet him through him scolding what he believes to be said 12 year old for running off and later in the books hes like you're 12 you aren't allowed to fight in battles and its like. what do we think king edmund the just was doing at 12 years old. being king of an entire nation, having already fought in multiple battles. one of four humans in the entire country. no one is allowed to tell him what to do but his older siblings and truly how good is he at listening to them. he has nooo reference for what 12 year old boys Should be doing and now oh no he's lost the child. the child has gone missing in the streets of a foriegn capital
