JEDI KNIGHT: As a padawan and Jedi, they were a reserved but highly curious individual. They were highly empathetic towards others which made their emotionality quite strong, causing them to feel quite strongly towards the circumstances of others. While they excelled in discipline and focus, they had too much emotionality which fuelled their strong drive for justice.
Despite their reserved demeanour, they were highly loyal and amicable towards those they were close with. They did not value shallow relationships so they struggled to find many connections within the Jedi Order, but the few connections they had were deep. With those they liked, they seemed excitable and without a filter. They still remained withheld but they had an underlying passion for the few things they liked.
Due to their reserved nature, they weren’t that assertive which caused their self esteem to remain quite low. As they valued skill and hard work, they trapped themselves in a cycle of trying to meet their own expectations whilst not allowing themselves any sort of satisfaction from their efforts.
THE REVANCHIST: After the Jedi Council refused to actively take part in the Mandalorian Wars, they became much sharper in terms of their personality. While their assertiveness never really grew, their passion increased greatly. They knew how to get to the emotions of others and build a genuine following by connecting to deeper emotions of other Jedi, which led them to see the value in having followers.
Their emotional intelligence and empathy made them a skilled tactician as they excelled in thinking in the way their opponents thought.
However, with their growing number of followers, this led them to develop significant doubt about their skill and a bit of impostor syndrome. With their position as the leader of the movement, they put immense amounts of pressure on themselves, causing them to become a bit of a perfectionist and a workaholic.
DARTH REVAN: After turning to the dark side, they didn’t necessarily become “evil”. The mask liberated them quite a lot and it helped a lot with their self-doubt that they developed during the Mandalorian Wars. The dark side merely amplified their disillusionment with the Jedi Order and fuelled their passion for justice. With their disillusionment along with their heightened passion, it led to a more detached and polarised way of viewing the galaxy, which resulted in their more severe actions with the Star Forge.
From their time during the Mandalorian Wars and their current detachment, they soon started viewing life as a statistic and a means to an end. Instead of their sympathetic empathy that they had as a padawan, their emotional intelligence became a weapon which they exploited to rationalise their actions.
While they grew more detached from their actions, there was always a part of them that could never fathom what they had ended up as. They unconsciously knew that what they were doing was not going to bring about the reform they strived to bring but they were also too scared to stop.
Their main flaw was their inability to say no. As they had already gone down a path, they did not know how to change again and they found some twisted comfort in the routine. It allowed them to have a sense of apathy towards others so they could just let the days play out the same as the last.
MINDWIPE: After the mindwipe, they became a fragmented version of themselves. With the lack of a proper identity or role to cling onto, their low self esteem returned along with their self doubt. While they retained their empathy and high levels of curiosity, they became much more tentative and lost.
As they had lost their sense of purpose, they became much more agreeable as they needed some sort of goal to cling onto. Their previous apathy returned on occasions but with the release of self pressure, they slowly gained their care for others.
Alek/Darth Malak: Clio used to be very close with Alek. As Jedi Knights and padawans, the two often trained together. Alek was one of the few who enjoyed listening to Clio’s passionate spiels and tangents about the galaxy and he would always help them when they
Bastila: Clio and Bastila’s relationship was strained. Despite the strong force bond they have, Clio always felt ‘off’ around Bastila and grew to resent their force bond. The force bond between them made Clio feel rather insecure around Bastila as they disliked the feeling of someone else feeling their thoughts and emotions.
However, after a while, they grew to see Bastila as a friend. They never got over their dislike for the force bond but they eventually came to a stage where they could share things with her and connect with her emotionally.
