again, sorry to bring this up again, but this isnt about dream cheating his speedrun, or him saying something about how not all stans are bad, this is about him calling autistic people babies when they were (rightfully) upset that he used the r slur, and the fact that he’s friends with pewdiepie who is a known neo-nazi, along with the fact that he gave his fandom the OK to draw porn of him and his friends even though one of his friends is 15. do not fucking follow me if you can excuse ANY of this.

I’m sorta curious. But what town does she live in? Is she doing this because she lives in a racist town, because she’s genuinely scared or just because of black individuals she’s seen on TV who have been killed, and because of that caused her to be paranoid?

@scarlettrose0 this isn’t based on a true story or place this is more so this person being satirical (I think I used this word correctly). They are trying to show that being alive while black seems to get you killed no matter what you do. Despite not being a real threat, these people got killed for doing normal things (like having air fresheners in the car or going for a jog) and because these things are so normal, we can only assume that they were killed because they were black while doing them. Every time a black person is unjustly killed and we say “black lives matter”, ‘all lives matter’ people frequently give reasons why the killing was justified (ex: “Trayvon Martin shouldn’t have been wearing a hoodie at night” and wearing a hoodie is, again, an extremely normal thing to do). Avoiding getting killed by the cops is impossible when you’re black because you don’t need to do anything bad to be considered a threat.

Universal basic income would cause a massive economic boom as people who could previously barely get by decide to buy things like cars and houses and dishwashers and new clothes and employ the services of repair techs at need instead of putting it off indefinitely.

When I started getting $525 a week in extra unemployment at the start of the pandemic, I spent so much money just replacing everything in my apartment that was either irreparably broken or had been driving me crazy for years.

i really think the saying there's no ethical consumption under capitalism has become a phrase to excuse giving money to avoidable awful companies rather than a reality check. like if you're poor there's a good chance you have no choice but to shop from brands with less than ideal practices solely bc you can't afford to buy everything ethically sourced (not to mention in certain areas it's next to impossible to find those goods in general) but when it comes to chikfila that is an optional place to eat that is incredibly mask off with anti lgbt policies....... not quite the clapback to just say there's no ethical consumption under capitalism. like YEAH but you could just rip off their sauce recipe from online 🥴

15 year old me would be so annoyed with 21 year old me for being like I have a lifelong mental illness but I’m essentially symptom free right now and that’s partially because of my medication, but things like regular exercise, keeping a routine, trying to get enough sleep, and changing my attitude really do help keep me stable. but that’s not “do yoga” advice, that’s getting a different perspective as you grow up and I really wish I didn’t dismiss stuff like that as wellness blogger self help book bullshit back then

anyway if you’re a teenager dealing with mental illness, please know that not ALL advice relating to changing your mindset is “if you’re mentally ill just stop 😌” it’s stuff you learn in most forms of therapy
