Like, every single time one of AJ’s crows has been killed by someone they get a death message while no one else does (due to the Minecraft mechanic of when your pets die) and to think of it in a way that isn’t just Minecraft, I think she feels it. Even the way the Flick died.

That’s how in the most recent stream they knew that Flick was “burnt to a crisp” and how she knew they were suffocated or just killed, etc. She felt the burn on her skin and the stinging in her finger tips, when Flick suffocated they gasped with their breath leaving their lungs and a stabbing feeling in their chest when Flick is killed. Maybe she even hears Flick’s voice or a flash of Flick’s last moments to be able to see who did it (like how in most death messages you can see who did it, e.g. Sausage, Drift, etc). And every single disregarded “you have multiple Flicks, you can just bring them back” means more to tf!AJ than just disregarding the life of Flick as a familiar but also the pain it causes to Flick, and her. Every time AJ gets mad about how people try to choose which animals lives mean more than others, it’s coming from a place of not just care for animals and her familiar but with the experience of understanding the pain they are being put through.
