I used ballpoint pen to draw some funeral busts from a graveyard or two in Italy. It is just fascinating to see the likeness of someone who has been gone for  a while and wonder who they were, what they liked, and so on. The first (left) was drawn a bit heavy-handed and was the most weathered of the three. The one on the upper right looked unusually vibrant and confident compared to the many demure busts.

I just realized that I posted these to my Instagram, but not here. 😅

I love how the vet (Thank you, Dr. Amber!) labeled this as "dietary indiscretion," as if he is a proper Victorian gentleman who was tempted into sin by the forbidden fruit.  

...and you KNOW they did not get a good look at those dogs before encountering one another. :-)

This happened a long time ago, but that was a good feeling. X-D

...I need to start drawing more, even if it is just doodles.

I recently went to the FAA schoolhouse and had to do a "lesson" on a hobby. For the presentation, I quickly whipped up Air Traffic Corgi and explained the process behind creating him. ...it was supposed to be a 30 minute presentation. I learned that with the presentation itself and questions from non-artists, I could have easily broken an hour. I never would have thought that people would have been so interested on this type of information.

At the FAA schoolhouse for instructor training, so I doodle during lectures. She's a cutie. I had to tell a classmate not to hate because my quality of doodle is higher than most. X-D

This is my x-ray from yesterday. A week post-op and everything is healing nicely. Isn't that s*** absolutely awesome!?!? ...and yes, I rushed home and tried to stick a magnet to my face, but I am still too swollen for it to stick. :-)

This is my cojack, Thor. I got him from a rescue under the impression that the poor puppy was a corgi. However, as he got bigger, his legs sprouted and he failed to get fluffy. After realizing that I could not tire him out, I came to the realization that this is 35 pounds of corgi AND jack russell terrier. I call him my hyperactive long-legged, short hair corgi.

It's a doodle I did at work the other day. Those contraptions in her hands are light guns--a device air traffic controllers can use to signal an aircraft that has lost their radios.
