This happened awhile ago, but I was suddenly worried that the onlookers would think I was abusing my dog, rather than recognize that I was trying to get the fish out of his mouth.  Those things may have parasites!

I love how the vet (Thank you, Dr. Amber!) labeled this as "dietary indiscretion," as if he is a proper Victorian gentleman who was tempted into sin by the forbidden fruit.

Because sometimes people ask about that weird putty thing I use while I'm drawing. This is the life cycle of the kneaded eraser, my favorite mess correcting tool. (I also draw super light and if I need to remove a hard line, I use a white plastic eraser and a paper thin stainless steel eraser guard so I don't wipe out any important details). That last one is so nasty looking, but it totally still works on tracing paper. This, however, does not include the irreversible "fell on the floor and is now covered in cat hair" or "fell on the floor, couldn't find it, totally stepped on it, and I haven't vacuumed in like two weeks because projects" stages.
