No one is ever allowed to stay mad at Jax and properly call her out on her bullshit. As soon as Gangle spawns in, Jax begins her mistreatment of her, but all Ragatha and Kaufmo do is give Jax a dirty look. Neither of them tries to help Gangle. Neither of them says anything to Jax. When Jax purposefully steps on Gangle's mask in the pilot, no one reacts. Zooble apparently never went on adventures to help Gangle deal with Jax's abuse towards her and defend her. In Episode 2, neither Pomni nor Ragatha say anything when Jax tells Gangle: "You're violating my ears with your clap-back. Get driving, driver!" Ragatha just sits there when she hears Jax mistreat Gangle AGAIN: "Aren't you supposed to be submissive and agreeable? Move it!" Pomni tells Ragatha to calm down when she SHOULD be calling Jax out in Episode 5. Gangle basically tells Zooble that they've all got bigger fish to fry than being rightfully upset that Jax could have trapped them in the circus forever. Pomni, instead of confronting Jax about her disgusting thoughts (THEY ARE NOT INTRUSIVE, PERIOD) and the things she's done, hugs her instead and almost abstracts too. And these are just a few examples. Like holy shit, this show is ahh
I think it's very telling of how long it took to actually stop the use of Mitski's "strawberry blond" song for the strawberry cow trend βand that was mostly because the trend died, was seen as cringe, and people were like "eh... Well, we don't care anymore for it so okay".β. As to how much white people have an issue of using POC's art/faces and using them for their own enjoyment/art and taking out all it's racialized context.
The same goes for digital blackface and the constant use of black pain for memes (as a very clear cut example as to this day its being ignored too).
