Cayenne pepper candied bacon. I make this several times a year - each and every time it’s been consumed in its entirety right off the baking rack. Salty, sweet, peppery, spicy, thick-cut goodness.Â
And, here we observe the nuisance that is my painfully uneven oven. Regardless - still so spectacularly creamy and gooey and thyme-ey and texturally pleasing.Â
