With these thick and chewy cookies, indulge in the delectable combination of brown butter and chocolate chips. They're the ideal treat for satisfying your sweet tooth.
Ingredients: 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted browned butter, cooled. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup packed brown sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 2 cups chocolate chips.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 375F 190C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, mix the cooled browned butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined and creamy. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture, and mix until smooth. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy the thick and chewy chocolate chip cookies with a glass of milk or your favorite beverage!
