This is my Grandad from my Mum’s side. He died when she was 10 so these photos must have been taken in the very early 1950s on a family farm in Shropshire. The amazing Little Nan’s Bar in Catford recently had an eviction notice served by Lewisham Council stating it was unsuitable for the space in the Broadway. The bar has spent a lot of time and money customising the space and it is a little oasis for people from all over the community both during the evenings and also the day.
