Just release new this week. Will be out 17th June. 180g black vinyl pre-order on bandcamp
OWR01
Side A, as in Archives. First, we're talking about an era. Revisiting the classics. Layered dub and tech groove, coming back from a rather physical Flemish party. The basic and the machines are being installed in Brussels.
A1. Ian Tocor – Error 403
A2. Ian Tocor – The world is a mess
Side B, as in Ballads. Boarding a road movie in darkened chords. Joseph Schiano di Lombo enters the game. Anti-gravity is within reach: lightness of minds and wandering harmonies. When shadow comes to
tease the melancholy of the melody.
B1. Joseph Schiano di Lombo & Ian Tocor – A.H.E (Deep Heart Dub)
B2. Joseph Schiano di Lombo & Ian Tocor – Give me a pad
Originally, Outlander Wax Teory was a DJ duo made up of Exal and Ian Tocor, two friends brought together in Nantes at the dawn of the 2010s by their shared passion for refined techno. Today, Ian Tocor is steering the transformation of Outlander Wax Teory into a music label, a vessel for emotions and a purveyor of sensations. This first record is built on connections. Geographic: Nantes, Bordeaux, Paris, Brussels, Rennes all intersect here. Human: while Exal and Ian Tocor physically shared decks and nights out in near-perfect sync for ten years - Side A, signed by Ian Tocor, stands as living proof -, Ian Tocor and Joseph Schiano di Lombo exchanged drums and synth pads remotely for years, until this Side B blossomed.
Ian Tocor has released acclaimed solo works on Cracki Records, Love What You Feel, Vastechoses, Simple Music Experience, Counter Pulse, Motherlode, and Krakzh Records. He also co-authored a track with Joseph Schiano di Lombo, released on the Lumière Noire label.
