Gnawing at the bars of my enclosure, thinking about what would happen if TWEOSdrien got swapped with s6!Adrien
Not even on TWEOSdrien’s side. I’m just imagining Canon season 6 Adrien waking up, his dad’s alive, but he isn’t dating his amazing girlfriend Marinette and decides “Yeah I can deal with the emotional issues of ONE of these things” and promptly goes to ask her out…and somehow fucks up the entire plot as a result
Meanwhile TWEOSdrien is just. “Where’s Claudia. Who are you people. Why are you so friendly to me. Why isn’t Ladybug breaking my bones.”
I think dating a 15-year-old as a 17-year-old would be the one line Sillynette would refuse to cross. The plot gets fucked up by the virtue of her losing her crush, and Tikki is unable to salvage anything especially now that this isn't the Adrien she intended the plot to be with. Any attempts Tikki makes to force The Narrative to continue in spite of this get laughed off. Her defeat is conclusive and mortifying, and Sillynette stabilizes as a result.
(If S6!Adrien tries to have a moment with his dad though.... oh buddy. That's not the man you want to open up about your feelings to. You'll get laughed at at best.)
TWEoSdrien is actually pretty logical, though. His thought process over his imprisonment in the Lying Dimension goes thusly:

Oh god. This must be a timeline where we never met. Even if I try and find her, she won't know who I am. I can't come on too strong. In fact, until I find a way back I should avoid contacting her at all costs. I should essentially treat this as time-travel, where I don't interfere with anything unless I absolutely have to in case it causes a butterfly effect.

So this new Adrien, suddenly much older and taller and grumpier, does not need to look for confirmation that his father is horrible. He has a wealth of his own experience (though not true to this timeline) to talk about, and talk he will! The irony is that he does not know Gabriel is Hawkmoth, so Marinette is stuck believing both that Adrien knows everything and that he knows nothing. I'm sure that, since he's not constrained to the in-house writing style of ML characters, TWEoSdrien will find out the truth very quickly, and be much more incensed that there was a conspiracy to hide it than that his dad was shitty in some new and secret way.
