11.06.2025 // t-2 to the november lsat!
i’ve had a couple more study sessions in the past week, and i’m not sure if i actually feel more prepared for test day? but consistency and habits are key… and i’ve been trying to avoid overloading myself right before the test, so. we’ll see…
another recommendation for the lsat friends: last time i rec’ed ellen cassidy’s The Loophole, and today i am rec’ing the LSAT Dragon LR Perfection. god that’s a good one. i wish i got it so much sooner!! it’s such a huge help…
excited and terrified to be done with this test! this will be my last time i’m taking it, so. yay…
10.27.2025 // study date at about time in los angeles!
drove quite a bit ways to see my friend on my off day from work — los angeles traffic is… not fun, that’s for sure. she’s applying for medical school while i’m prepping for law school applications, so we decided to get some work done when i came to her!
for the friends studying for the lsat, the loophole by ellen cassidy is my current favorite resource. it’s an easy read, and ellen is genuinely so nice (she responds to emails!!). going to be cramming my way through the book for november, but honestly i’m having fun? i’m currently forcing myself to slow down my process and reflect as i go, so studying takes longer but my brain is definitely more engaged. good progress has been made.
had a yummy dalgo latte, and my friend got the corn latte!

10.24.2025 // it’s been a second since i posted… but we’ve been back at it for the november lsat test!
a crazy couple of months have led me to simultaneously working full time (income! income!) while continuing my lsat studying while doing my best to maintain the wonderful and lovely friendships i made in college. everyone is so busy, though, that the majority of shared time with my dearest friends is time spent studying…
which is honestly, so inspirational and motivating and awesome :) we’re all girlbossin our way up and i deeply deeply admire every single one of my friends for everything they are, and how hard each of them work in their respective paths.
anyway, one of my friends and i have started a running joke that we call “free will,” in which we go to increasingly unhinged places to study for the lsat. this has led us, so far, to a resort and to a museum garden… up next, we’re thinking about hitting an amusement park…? work hard play hard at its peak!!
08.07.2025 // t-2 days to my exam!
in complete honesty, i left this morning’s study session feeling scared. i’d intended for the practice test i took this morning to be my last before the real thing, but my score from today’s practice exam dropped a whole five points from where i’ve been averaging for the past month.
i’m going to spend the rest of the evening on corrections and working through different perspectives on the topics i’ve been struggling with, and then i’m going to make sure i get a good night’s sleep. my brain function is a lot better when i make sure that i’m well-rested and well-fed, so i’m going to try to sleep early, wake up early enough to make breakfast tomorrow, and decide where to go from there — whether or not i just want to read through the lessons on lawhub, do some drills, watch other people’s lsat tips on youtube, or take another full-blown practice test.
this was definitely a frustrating setback, but i think it’s more helpful to myself to reframe this as a really good opportunity to regroup and reapproach the problem from a new angle. with about 30 hours left until my test, i’m going to do my best with the time i have.

08.05.2025 // lsat study date at a cafe! just a friend locking in together with me, my wrong answer journal, lawhub advantage, and a delicious affogato.
i haven’t been keeping up with this blog very much lately, but this summer has seen me spending many hours preparing for the lsat. my test date is on saturday, and once that’s done, i’ll be working on applications for the upcoming cycle.

05.30.25 // studying during an absurdly whimsical month…
two days after this study session i attended the stray kids concert in la! which was absolutely awesome and totally reglued together parts of my soul that had no reason to be broken any longer. i’ve been a fan of these guys since they debuted in my freshman year of high school, and as i’m graduating from university in a week, it truly feels like the end of a very long and gruelingly difficult but rewarding era.
continuing my poetic streak for a little longer, i just finished my last week of undergraduate years and i can’t really process that. no more school… at least for a bit? i’m planning on going on to law school, but who knows what else life has in store…
05.25.25 // last midterm paper of my undergrad years!
it’s been a really surreal last quarter at my university and i haven’t been keeping very active here unfortunately. i’m honestly quite impressed by how well i’ve held on to my work ethic this quarter, but i must say it’s probably thanks to all the random little adventures i’ve been on for the past nine weeks.
really going to miss this place and the people i’ve become friends with.
currently hiding in the bathroom of a conference hall halfway across the world because i’ve been up since 3 am and if i talk to one more person about defence i will become a puddle instantaneously and that’s a string of thought i never really imagined for myself

05.01.25 // travelled to orlando for a conference with the nonprofit i’ve been working with, and i took the opportunity to swing by disney springs and enjoy some delicious drinks and seafood.
life has been really surreal this past quarter and i still have a bit of difficulty processing that it’s all real — especially because all of this stretches so far beyond what younger me ever would have imagined for myself. the universe has been kind to me lately, and it’s been restoring my faith that things will all turn out right in the end, no matter how hard things get.
04.11.25 // research day!
i started an internship this quarter that has me researching a lot of things i’ve never really thought i would learn about. it’s got me working a lot, too. simultaneously, i’m finishing up my degree as well as continuing on in the research apprenticeship program i started working in last quarter… the workload is genuinely endless. can’t believe it’s all almost over.
i just saw the new twosetviolin video in my youtube recommended and had a visceral throwback to the time i updated someone about going no contact with my best friend, the day after 2set took down all their old stuff:
me: dude, did you hear about the twoset breakup?
her: i just heard about it today, it’s SO tragic.
me: yeah. well. you know who else broke up?
me, pointing to myself:
her: NO WHAT???
04.02.25 // back to school…
made myself a coffee once i got home from class, and i’ve been diving into the assigned readings so i can get a head start on the quarter ahead.
spring break felt really short, but i suppose i’m pretty excited to get back into the swing of things and finish up the school year. i’m about ten weeks out from graduating from university, and the feelings on that are incredibly mixed. adulthood is looming and it’s scary in an unstable world, but simultaneously, i’m awaiting the day that i can actually do more meaningful things to affect my surroundings, than just studying.
03.22.25 // celebrating my first day of spring break by taking some time to cook for myself~
getting into the rhythm of chopping, cooking, seasoning, stirring is always so relaxing for me. i’ve been so busy with college and work that i’ve barely had time to cook recently, so this was a breath of fresh air.
RECIPE (w very vague measurements)
ingredients (measurements are only suggestions; adjust to taste):
1 zucchini, washed and sliced
1 yellow squash, washed and sliced
pasta of choice
~2 tbsp olive oil
salt
pepper
thyme, dried or fresh
~1 tbsp lemon juice
parmesan (optional)
directions:
wash and slice the vegetables to about 1/4 inch width. heat olive oil in a pan, and saute the vegetables with salt, pepper, and thyme. once tender, set aside the vegetables to cool (and to snack on.) and move the pan off of direct heat.
in a separate pot, boil water to cook your pasta of choice. once al dente, remove the pasta and add it into the pan, mixing it evenly with the zucchini/squash-infused olive oil that remains on the pan.
add the lemon juice and parmesan to the pan of pasta and mix evenly. salt and pepper to taste, plate the pasta, and mix in/top it off with the vegetables.
and done!! the vegetables can really be any vegetable of choice; i’ve just been obsessed with zucchini and squash lately.

03.20.25 // going through my reading notes (plus a lil bit of dictation practice using a kdrama i’ve been rewatching) before i attack the final paper i’m meant to write for this class.
theories of democracy and theories of populism… please free me…
03.19.25 // 3 out of 5 finals complete… onto the next!
finals week has been especially tough since the weather has brightened up so much since last week (rainy, cold, foggy). it’s been so sunny and clear out the past couple days, and having to lock myself into focus sessions while the birds are chirping and the spring sunshine is bright… it’s been a challenge.
i finished another final earlier today, and i’m just hoping i did well enough to pull my a- up to an a… fingers crossed! incredibly grateful for the three extra credit bonus questions that my professor wrote in as the last few problems on the exam.
