Now I have other ideas but uploading the eps for the scenes I want is kinda hard. If I find the edit, I'll post it here.

I still refuse to believe Kagami couldn’t capture the “true” adrien in her art

The fact adrigami worked because Kagami genuinely understood Adrien in a way few people did. Since they both grew up under intense parental pressure and were expected to be “perfect,” Kagami could recognize when Adrien was putting on his model persona versus when he was acting like himself. The series even shows this directly when Adrien keeps posing during the drawing scene and Kagami points out that he is not being genuine, proving she never only loved the “perfect” image of him. She also encouraged him to have freedom, sneak away from strict expectations, relax, and enjoy/be himself, which goes against the idea that she was controlling or incompatible with him. Their relationship was built on honesty and mutual understanding, and Kagami admired Adrien’s softer, more awkward, and authentic side just as much as his composed side, Not Marinette. That is why i felt the Adrigami breakup in Lies came across as forced. Adrien’s behavior also felt out of character because he is normally written as empathetic, considerate, and conflict-avoidant, not someone who would emotionally cheat without remorse. His usual flaw is repressing his feelings and trying too hard not to hurt others, so openly enjoying abandoning Kagami for another girl who he tends to have a onesided relationship with in terms of romance which is Marinette likes him, obsessed, stalking him and like his model image and etc, has seem to barely feel guilty about it and it clashes with how the show had portrayed him for most of the series.
