Amulets..? What are- you have to explain some of this weird- or- some of the psuedo-science magic stuff you and your sibling use. It seems helpful.

Or. At least interesting! that's the same reason I was going to speak with Oliver's boyfriend, you see, all this... magic stuff is new to me.

*for a second Jarry seems lost in thought, but he does snap himself out of it very quickly*

*Snowcloud, who was still reeling a little from the sudden dizziness he was hit with, his hand unconsciously reaching out for Jarry's shoulder to steady himself. It takes a while for him to feel well enough to respond, but even then his grip on Jarry's shoulder doesn't loosen. He doesn't look any less pleased around Jarry's presence, though.*

Ah, yes! Some, they call it magic. Perhaps the area that boy is familiar with is considered so. But the manner I deal with— it is, a bit more complicated than that. Bah! What is the word... Shamanism? Or something akin to that nature.

*He blinks a few times ahead of them, as if trying to clear out his vision before glancing back at Jarry, smiling a little wider seeing his genuine interest. He couldn't recall the last time anyone had asked him anything about his specialization.*

But that is for later— we will have much time to go over all of those things when we are able. And that matter of being 'out of bounds'... That is not a bad thing. You are not stupid for what you not know. It only means there is a new door of opportunity to broaden your views. And seeing as you are so willing to know, why, that is already the first step to understanding these things.

*Snowcloud chuckles, giving Jarry's shoulder a light squeeze.*

*The words had the frost beneath Snowcloud's feet thicken, eating away at his boots with the same intensity as his clouds jittering. To even call the look across his face a smile would've been pushing it—torn between wanting to look angered and confused. When he tries to get a word in, his mouth quickly snaps back shut, his face twisting into a tight grimace from the sudden headache hitting him at full force. Forcing a word out of him takes too much effort.*

*It was fleeting, but there was a split second where anger twists in his eyes as he swivelled over to face the anon, the motion perhaps quick enough to have melted the snow around him.*

*Snowcloud quickly stops himself before he says anything more, taking a deep breath.*

It's good enough that some of my memory is coming back to me... His name is Bill Cipher, says he's a dream demon but most are sure he's something else entirely... Especially this one. He comes from a universe where his plans went more wrong than the average Bill. Best be careful around this guy.... He's freaky around ALL the wrong ways... Likes it weird, and never normal... Trust me, the guy is bad news. If I were you? Don't get in his way, or else you might end up with your mouth as an anus. He'll curse you in the worst way possible, and have it be PERMINANT....

*Snowcloud's face scrunches a little as he processes the information given— pensive and disturbed by the vivid imagery in its warning.*

A dream demon? That... I do not think that befits any description I have heard about them. I have heard of these things, yes, but I of any that could bend reality to its will that I know of... difficult indeed.

*The snowfall from his clouds only hastened the more he lets himself fall deeper into his train of thought, the snow accumulating beneath his feet. He's only momentarily thrown out of it when the rat speaks again, blinking a few times to compose himself before smiling, hoping it wasn't strained enough to appear encouraging.*

Something dairy and.... somewhat moldy... You have any on you? Perhaps.... cold, or in storage? Wrapped up tighter than a mummy, maybe?

Dairy and moldy you say... Ah, very well then, since you have asked so nicely.

*Snowcloud reaches into his pockets, his hand shuffling around for a moment or two before his fishes out a small, crumpled piece of foil, offering it to the small rat. It had enough volume and shape to it to indicate at least a few crumbs of cheese were inside.*

*This is all so far from academic, he's so out of his comfort zone, but still he shouldn't need help. He's listening, but he can't help but think he wouldn't be pulled along their whims simply by promising him his "heart's desires". He's stronger willed than that. But at least something is helping. Jarry looks at Snowcloud in confusion for a few moments at the final comment, considering the rant he just went on it's frankly surprising how he doesn't respond immediately*

... On his way to the Auroras..? What does that- oh does that mean he's dead? I was dead too, Snow. Apparently that's not relevant when it comes to someone's involvement anymore. Now, the lack of information is unfortunate but we can work with it, your sibling is at the cowboy's ranch right? Let's go there first.

*Jarry quickly pulls Snowcloud's hands into his own ignoring the stark could of them and attempting to pull him toward where he believes the ranch is*

*There was a split second where Snowcloud was unresponsive from the news when two and two were put together— left blankly staring in the empty space next to Jarry as he's dragged off into where he's only vaguely aware was the opposite direction of where they were supposed to be heading. It takes nearly stumbling on a rock for him to snap out of it.*

Ah, err, no, not there dear— other way.

*He steadies himself back onto the ground, gently tugging Jarry's hand back from pulling him along any further, smiling almost amusedly as he gently guides him along the right path at a brisk pace. But there was something about his gait that almost seemed frantic now, though.*

*Snowcloud chuckles a little at the well-placed pun, tilting his head in slight amusement.* Ah, yes, in some ways they were! But do not tell them I have said that, haha!

*Snowcloud's lips curl a little at that— despite his best efforts to seem polite, there was a slight strain to his smile when he speaks.*

I do not think I am entirely pleased to have information being witheld from me at such a moment dear friends. Time is of the essence, and I do not want to be— how you say now, a debbie downer, but I would greatly appreciate if we save my sibling the effort of hurriedly piecing things together should the worst arise.

Ah, I suppose so! But a rather unconventional weapon of choice, would you not agree? I do not see much use of it against spirits of a higher nature.

*Jarry looks embarrassed for a moment before he quickly snaps out of it and seems to remember why he was so frantic in the first place*

I'm not sure about the- "spirits". I don't know anything about that or why they may be- missing? But I know my brother is apparently in the company of a demon and a man that might as well be. You've met Alexander, you know how awful he is especially when it comes to my brothers-

*Jarry is speaking incredibly fast and you can hear a soft raccoon chittering in the background of his voice. The speed he's talking at makes it almost hard to understand him*

My point is- will you help me? I was thinking I could also enlist the assistance of you and your sibling as you're the most plausible help, as well as the assistance of that cowboy- do you know him? Doesn't matter, I've heard he's kind I'm sure it will be no issue-

*Snowcloud gets the feeling that if he doesn't interrupt Jarry may not stop talking*

*His shoulders relaxes a little as Jarry carries on with his tangent, relieved to feel some of the weight he might have carried with him prior melt away just by the sound of his voice. Maybe it should have overwhelmed him, hearing so many things at once be carelessly shoved into his head in such short notice, but it was all the reassurance he needed.*

Calm yourself my dear, one at the time, yes? Any quicker and you shall deprive your poor lungs of whatever air is left.

*With a laugh, Snowcloud raises one of his hands to cup Jarry's cheeks, hoping the chill of his hand cold enough to reel his attention in.*

Now, firstly, yes, I will help you, so you need not worry. Truthfully I am glad you have sought to find me first beforehand. Demons are beings none should face alone. They are... quite terrible tricksters. They will beguile you will all things your heart desires. It will be child's play for them to string you along to their will in that manner— very few are able to resist, and even fewer are able to escape their grasp alive.

*Snowcloud grimaces at the thought, his hands clenching at his sudes before quickly shaking his head, trying to will the image away before continuing.*

Unfortunately I was not able know more from the star, however— I did not trust it would speak the truth, and I had my hopes it only spoke of lies, see. You must forgive me for that slight. But it did mention offering aid to those that sought to help your brother. Perhaps it has already gone to bring aid now, but to whom, I do not know.

SNOW!! Snowcloud I need to speak with you, I need your assistance!

*Snowcloud, who had seemingly just finished haphazardly making two strange dolls out of grass and weeds, quickly snaps his head towards Jarry the second he hears his voice— just barely registering the way his body hurriedly ambling towards him.*

Jarry! You are here! You are alright!

*By the time Snowcloud reaches him, he carefully plants his hands on Jarry's shoulders, carefully searching for any sign of injury or other.*
