i love buffy and ford’s fight in lie to me so fucking much. i love it when buffy’s angry like this, i love it when she has the opportunity to yell and scream and cry. i love ford as a character and his relationship with buffy - i think they did such a stellar job of fleshing him out for a character that only appears in one ep. i love “im sorry, summers. did i screw up your righteous anger riff?” i love that line so much. ford’s in the wrong here, obviously, but that line teeters right on the edge, cuts right to the heart of buffy’s righteousness and how that can sometimes bleed out of her as arrogance or condescension. buffy has earned that righteous anger, don’t get me wrong. but that doesn’t mean that her anger doesn’t sometimes hurt the people she loves. idk. i just fucking love this episode
