I think the most frightening episode is normal again in s6. Cause imagine questioning your whole reality. Imagine people not believing you or the horrors you survive every night. I think the fact that vampires dust does really underline this as there is no real evidence left after. Also when buffy fights off the Demons in the episode where she's on a site with Xander. And this one guy saw it and won't believe it and lets buffy look like a crazy girl. Imagine all that and still risking your life to save everyone.
