I was just thinking that a popular headcanon for firebenders in A:tLA is that they can tell where the sun is because its the source of fire and are able to tell the time by that and I had a thought.

First off, im not a scientist or that knowledgeable about physics so i could be waaaaay off but...

The Earth orbits around the sun due to the gavatational pull of Sol. Our orbirt is not consistent because we wobble away from it every once and a while but we're always pulled back after a while.

By gravity.

So...if we play with the idea that Chuuya can sense the gravity around him, kinda like Tophs Earth Sense, could he feel where the sun is?

And if he does, does that interfere with his ability to feel the magnetic pulls of the poles so he has no sense of directions?

Could he feel where the moon is?

The poles are affected by magnetism and not gravity so Chuuya would not be able to tell which way north and south is with his Ability, he would have to do it like any other person (unless the people that experimented on him did something so he would be able to sense it but thats too much of a rabbit hole rn I'm already going insane with this one)

Which means a couple of things!

1. He would be able to tell which way West and East is if he knew what time of day it was without looking at the sun

2. If he's for some reason tied to Dazai and theyre forced to navigate an areas he would be useless, with his normal way to orientate himself taken away by No Longer Human

Also. I found another way for Chuuya to be even more OP the he already is.

I figured out that every time he makes something float, he has to be still keeping some earths gravitational pull on whatever hes making fly, because if he didnt, whatever he had put in zero gravity would keep moving with the speed the earth is spinning at but in a straight line. They would eventually leave the atmosphere because they would not be drawn to the earth's surface.

Just moving thinks around and making them float would simply mean he's got telekinesis powers.

As the bds wiki puts it he can "alter the gravity of anything he touches". So he doesn't just remove all gravitational forces from an object. He manipulates the way the forces are distributed on the object. I'm not sure how earth's gravitational pull works, but using gravity to move something to the side for example would mean the direction of the force would be towards the side he aims at. So his power would mean he's simultaneously controlling the earth's pull on an object and creating additional gravitational forces as he goes to guide it.
