Okay but jokes aside the thing that makes a piece of media stand the test of time in this day and age is fangirls. Iâm not sure if David Szymanski or Markiplier are actually weirded out by bloodymary or not but if I could tell them one thing it would be that they struck fucking gold with bloodymary because that it what is going to give you long term success. Fangirls are the reason why movies like Rise of the Guardians which performed poorly initially were able to stand the test of time. Itâs also why movies like Avatar which had great initial success arenât remembered as much over time. They didnât have a fan base to back them up.
I know we hehe haha about not wanting Markiplier to see the yaoi but like this is genuinely such a good sign that Iron Lung is going to stand the test of time and continue to be as popular as it is.
Little fun fact, coming from an AroAce themself, a lot of the bloodymary (and just project hail Mary fandom in general) need to do a little bit more research into being AroAce. I see so many people headcanon Grace as AroAce and that's wonderful but then people are like, on one hand I ship bloodymary or [insert any other ship with Grace here] but on the other hand, he's AroAce.
HE CAN DO/BE BOTH. I NEED YOU GUYS TO REALIZE THAT.
Not only is there oriented AroAce, in which they also have a separate orientation, like gay or lesbian or bisexual or any of the other various sexualities, but AroAce is also just a spectrum as a whole.
I'm Aro because I have a difficulty differentiating my romantic and platonic feelings due to nuerodivergence.
I'm Ace because I have sexual trauma that has led to me being very sex aversed and even before it, I was very sex neutral.

Qpr stands for Queer Platonic Relationship which is often a type of relationship Ace, Aro, or AroAce people seek out as a form of relationship that breaks the societal standards of Romantic relationships as well as Platonic ones. And each QPR is different as it looks however the people participating in it want it to look.

The two main ideas I had for the languages of each society went something like this:
The COI would have had the closest thing to modern English. I have decided that this is a very efficient verbal shorthand. Communication happens extremely quickly between people. It takes minimal effort to get a point across.
Eden is archaic. Their language evolved that same shorthand, but it quickly grew around scripture and poetic phrasing rather than efficiency. They are the opposite of "literal" and never say what they truly mean, which has caused the COI to very rapidly decide that they are untrustworthy and difficult to understand.
Meanwhile Eden folk think the COI dialect was made for jarheads. It's extremely obvious if you're from the COI to a native Edenite.
Literally none of this is supposed to make sense linguistically because I know fuck all about that. I just like the concept of putting language barriers on everyone LOL

Also regarding role-playing using the dialect, you can absolutely get away with NOT using the merged letters if it's difficult to keep up with on a keyboard. The whole point is the document to act as a base idea, not law.
