On our merry way down the cabbage patch

We were scrambling to find something for our Castiel photos after our Misha one went so well. When Misha picks out your pose and tells you to grab it, you do it. I got to grab Misha’s butt so I can’t complain, btw. Hahaha! Still, we wanted to do something unique. Misha in character as Cas for photos? There isn’t that many out there. We had a chance to really change the game!

Sunday was getting closer and closer and we couldn’t figure it out. What could we do?! Finally were joking around (kind of dirty we won’t lie…) and it hits us. Why not tie up Castiel? How couldn’t we?! But would he go for it? I wasn’t completely sure. Misha is known for being crazy and up for anything during ops. However, the rope would be time consuming! And Ducktape could hurt Misha if it was put on too hard!

Originally, we were going to ask Chris, but we weren’t sure it’d get to Misha in time. And why waste the money buying everything if it wouldn’t work out? So, we waited until the end of the photo line for the trio. Took our pose - scared shitless and huddled close- was all the directions the boys got. It was glorious. Then paused to ask Misha….He leans down to let us ask him- and of course Jared butts in because he’s a lovable moose. We don’t even get out the words ‘we want to tie you up’ before he’s agreeing. ‘Yes. Absolutely. Yes please.’ And of course Jared put on his seal of approval, laughing. ‘Yes. He can do that. He has to do that!!’ Silly Jared. We were so stoked!!

What is it about Shane that you love and were drawn to? He is hyper competent at this one thing. He’s stereotypically masculine in a lot of regards. He’s a kind person, and he’s so overtly Canadian. He’s harboring something that he thinks is a career-ending secret because he just doesn’t have the emotional maturity or societal maturity to sort of understand what his own queerness means. To him, it’s most likely detrimental, which is the wrong assumption to some degree, but it shatters his own idea of what his masculinity is, or at least it cripples it.
