Cat genetics in normal amounts

and i was under the impression normal color point cats always always have blue eyes, no extra pigment. he wasn't full grown when we got him and he had light blue eyes, but as he got older they started turning yellow around the pupil? i dont have any younger photos of his eyes when they were all blue, but the difference was noticeable. this is him at less than a year old

and now he's 2 years old and the yellow-ish ring has become his full eye color....i dont even know what to describe this color. i guess they still read as light blue? but having seen them when they were actually Blue, the yellow tint makes them look almost like. silvery gray?

so is it actually possible for color point cats to have a little color pigment in their eyes?? is this a normal variant of light blue that i just haven't seen in other points or is he weird

Since then (1,5 years) those markings have completely disappeared, and she now appears entirely white.

Could she be a red (flame) point whose markings have faded because she spends so much time sleeping on the radiator? Or is it possible for white to spread across the coat after the first year? I’ve generally only seen cats get darker over time, not lighter.
