goddamn bitch of an unsatisfactory situation

So in order to keep getting the full evil karma experience, every time I do something convenient or utilitarian that raises my karma I go back to Moriarty’s Saloon and just open his terminal over and over again.

In Gaza, as of the moment I am posting this, it is currently 88 degrees Fahrenheit (31.11111 degrees Celsius). That is the starting temperature, before one takes in the unclean air and before one takes in the fact that people are inside plastic tents. Plastic tents which grab heat and make every temperature feel that much worse.

My friend Siraj @siraj0 told me this morning on WhatsApp that he and his family are not well, they are suffering in the heat with insects.

Additionally, I saw something on Instagram about how right now in Gaza, a battery powered fan costs $500 and the actual battery to put in it is $1,000. That's absolutely ridiculous.

Siraj hasn't been on Tumblr to speak for himself lately (probably because of the heat and the bugs and everything else about surviving a genocide taking energy away from him) and because he hasn't been online, donations to his family have dropped. A few days ago, there was a $100 donation - and that's good, but infrequent big donations are not as helpful as frequent small donations.

I ask, if anyone can help my friend and his family survive the heat (and potentially buy a battery powered fan), please consider donating.
