a jerk from here to Alabama

well, THE SEARCH IS OVER NOW!!! it's funny because I assumed nothing would be on youtube, which is why I didn't look there sooner. but after a lot of dead ends on other sites, I searched the band (named alley creeper) and song's name on YT just in case, and while "killer disease" was not on there, other songs by the band WERE! they were a couple of music videos, uploaded by two different accounts like 16 years ago, no less

so I did a hail mary and commented on one video from each account, asking them that if they happened to see my comment, to please contact me if they had access to "killer disease" as well, since I would really like to hear the whole song.

I didn't expect them to reply anytime soon, given how the accounts haven't been very active apart from uploading those music vids more than a decade ago, so imagine my delight when one of them actually replied to my comment pretty soon after I'd posted it?!? not only did they reply, but the guy seems to have been part of the band as well, and he told me he'd try to look for one of their old cd-demos and send the track to me if he found it!!!

well, it took like 9 months for me to hear from him again, but he delivered and I now have "killer disease" in my possession and have listened to it in full at long last!!!!! now I know how those people searching for that "like the wind" (not the actual title)-song probably felt once they had managed to track it down, because damn, it feels so surreal, omfg.
