Harry loved bath time, mostly because he learned how to splash. He'd just soak both of them. James, competitive as ever, would start splashing back, which would make Harry shriek with laughter, and Lily would just be standing there, trying to hold a towel, completely soaked, telling her "two idiotic boys" to behave.

The first time Harry actually laughed, both James and Lily just froze. They stared at each other in total awe. Then they spent the next hour making stupid faces and noises, desperate to hear it again.
