Just imagine it, your village/region/kingdom is under attack by some monster or another and out of the trees this slender little twunk appears and immediately starts acting like he’s gonna help.

And you’re skeptical of course cause look at him.

And then you find out that he’s basically a one man army who just fuckin wrecks the dragon/god/monsters/etc terrorizing your place before he breaks all of the pots in town and disappears again.

It’s problematic to stan coordinators because of the cruelty that saturates the contest industry, most notably with regards to selective breeding. If you support Lisia you’re effectively saying that you love dead and unhealthy pokémon.

Friendly reminder that almost all dragon trainers come from a background of excessive privilege and that their elite status in the industry is inherently classist.

Stop gendering sexless pokémon! Your golett is not your ‘little man’! Your carbink is not your ‘precious crystal girl’! 

Remember that trainers who don’t challenge Gyms are just as valid as those who do. Not everyone gets the opportunity to take a year out and dedicate time to training and it’s problematic to judge ability based on how many badges someone has!! 

Fairy types are actually among the most powerful types available to a trainer; their minimal presence in most Leagues is due to their association with femininity and the underlying sexism of the battle industry. Personal distaste for fairy types is without a shadow of a doubt due to internalised misogyny. 

Using the life orb is equivalent to abusing your pokémon, so jot that down. 

Dark types are grossly misrepresented via fiction, media and general public opinion. It’s gross and classist to assume that dark trainers are brutal and thuggish, and it’s toxic to act like dark pokémon themselves are inherently vicious. (This escalates to the point of people trying to act like dark types are completely harmless. More informed people step in to say that this is not the case - a wild poochyena will bite your hand off if you try to pet it).
