Don’t get me wrong it could be great but Anastasia already got redemption in C3. And even in the live action they weren’t terrible.

We’ve stopped making them “mean” anyway.

Why do we need a redemption story?

Also we have “Ugly Stepsister” that is def a Cinderella story from the stepsisters pov - as body horror centered as it is.

First look at Prince Charming in ‘STEPS’, voiced by Daniel Radcliffe.

The film follows Cinderella’s evil stepsisters who are actually depicted as kind & misunderstood.

I saw this concept art from the new movie “Steps” and I caught a funny detail…

So the green stepsister has a frog on her ballgown.

And suddenly in what I assume is a high speed chase, we see a cute little frog with a tiny tutu on the carriage??

Girl totally got turned into a frog!

- Ella and Char’s letter exchange to each other 📜

- Ella wearing her iconic green dress (like the cover of the book) to her mother’s funeral as an act of rebellion. 👗

- Ella and Char’s sliding down banisters and finding the box with the glass slippers in the hall of mirrors. 👠

- The carriage chase scene with the ogres. 👹

- Boarding school with Hattie & Olive where Ella meets Arida. 🪡

- The scene where Ella throws Hattie’s wig out of a window. 🤦🏼‍♀️

- Ella discovering the magic of her storybook by having pictures magically appear in it as the series goes along. 📖✨

- Ella and Char’s in the village with the talking birds. 🐦‍🔥

- Showing how she eventually becomes “Cinderella” when she lives with Dame Olga. 🧹

- The scene where she puts the sleeping potion in Dame Olga’s food. 😴🍮

- Olive ordering Ella to do random stuff just because (including the cake she never eats). 🎂

- The 3 royal balls Ella gets to attends with 3 different dresses. 💃🏻🕺🏻

These are just a few things I hope we see!

FINALLY!!!

(I’m both excited and worried for this. 😅)

If the series follows the book, there is a lot of potential. If it’s a continuation of the 2004 movie… that would be less appealing.
