GOD right?? He’s so frustrating. You know how the other boys have a thing that they think they do that is different than their actions? Like Rand thinks he respects women but he acts in ways that take away their agency? And Mat thinks he’s not a hero but he is? Well Perrin thinks he’s super thoughtful and considerate of others and then he is just NOT like next reread keep track of all his outbursts and all the times he physically picks some woman up to move her out of the way like Perrin STOP it drives me crazy

Totally like I have many emotions during my day that I don’t act on because like …. I have learned not to as an adult? Just because Faile smells jealous for two seconds doesn’t mean she actually is she had a fleeting normal human emotion that she then moved on from? Don’t base your whole life around it??

I also also love the complete blasé attitude Min had towards Rand she’s like ok buddy I see wild shit all the time you might as well be the Dragon Reborn sit and have a drink. Min has always been one of the characters to most truly see Rand as just some normal guy, some guy that she loves and supports but his identity and role as the Dragon is secondary to him. I feel like Avi and Elayne both have a harder time separating Rand’s political implications from either of them but here it’s just like … a guy and a girl having a drink

people that don’t like Elayne after she got pregnant just don’t make sense like sorry she wanted to get some dick and subsequently got plot armor during the last battle from that. you would do it too. like she could help it. I don’t think they have condoms in randland 

People always justify it with “ShE pUtS oThEr PeOpLe In DaNgEr” but like so does literally everyone in the series because it would be boring if they all sat at home and avoided dangerous situations? Her and Egwene suffer the most egregious double standards in the fandom

I do think there are situations where Elayne forgets that while she has the "armor" of being pregnant and knowing the future, the people around her do not, and because she is an important person a lot of people will try to help and/or rescue her if they feel she is in trouble. Her recklessness here just always felt extremely shortsighted and selfish to me, for a character that doesn't really display those characteristics otherwise. I'll be the first to admit though that I don't like any of the Trakands and am often reallllly quick to forgive similar traits in other characters like Egwene.

Could Liandrin’s man in North Harbor be some kind of Darkfriend contact? And does Moiraine know that if he is, or was she assuming it was her lover but still managed to hit on something that made Liandrin back off?
