so for ages ive suspected that im like (gray)aroace and occasionally let myself label it but then remember that ive felt some (very limited) attraction and im like “nope im bi” “im just traumatized” even though. im fully aware i can be all of those things at once. but labeling it has been so difficult and scary for some reason. i gave up every time i tried to do more research into it but ive actually been doing some reading today and am starting to understand some stuff about myself

one important detail i left out here is that i did identify as aspec back when the ace discourse was just becoming a thing. i used some microlabels i don’t even remember anymore. and then the discourse started and i stopped and convinced myself i was never aspec until i recently (hesitantly) have tried identifying that way again
