so it turns out that my bio dad is #dying so me and my brother went to go visit him for the first time since literally childhood and it was awkward but a nice enough little visit not a bad memory to end things off with

HOWEVER our sister (who my brother went no contact with) found out (and by found out i mean i told her) we visited and were in town and didnt invite her and was UNDERSTANDABLY all in her feelings about it however like. her relationship with that part of the family is way different than ours so like. she was in regular contact with our dad and then went no contact last year and i mentioned that our grandparents gave us some info blah blah and she goes "ugh i fucking hate those people" girl this is why you were NOT invited to the dying dad family reunion
