diabolical concept: eridians typically do not move the bodies of their deceased from where that person chose to pass. the land reclaims them within a few years, anyway. but when rocky returns home, he amends his last will and testament to ask that his body be moved into grace’s biodome if he dies before grace. he wants to give grace a chance to finally make contact with his carapace without it injuring either of them. when grace finds out, he amends his own testament to do the inverse. rocky’s body would fare better in the biodome than grace’s body outside of it, but either way, they eventually get to make contact without the grief of causing pain.

the bad thing about having unhealthy habits due to mental illness, is when you DO do something healthy style you can't brag about about it because then people will then know you've been doing it yucky style all along. Fun fact! This npc is standing there because that tile is on the same tile as the entrance to wayward cave underneath the cycling road. Because of how the bridge tiles and the tiles below them are programmed, if there wasn’t an npc there biking over that tile would count as going into the cave entrance and would warp the player to the cave. Rather than creating a way for bridge tiles over entrance warps to work with it that happening, they did the simpler thing of just putting a stationary npc on the bridge above
