These are among the largest in the world, with the 5,000 ft east face of Mt Dickey, which also extends 4,000 ft beneath the glacier! One of the things that really draws me to this place is the fact that the glaciers are still so thick and alive, something you don't get in the Himalaya which look more melted out and suffering from climate change. But not even these glaciers will last forever if we don't act now. #actonclimate @alexhonnold @freddiewilkinson @sanctityofspace
