INTP Turn Ons
Intellect
No, you donât need an IQ of 140 and if you go around telling them that theyâll make you prove it eventually.
We love to converse with people we donât find draining, so if you can hold our interest for more than a few minutes weâve already noticed you. Thatâs pretty rare for us.
It doesnât really matter specifically what youâre interested in, so long as youâre passionate and can teach us a lot about it. Or maybe a little about a lot of things. But be as well researched as possible otherwise they wonât trust you as a source of information.Â
If you have different opinions from us, that could actually be a plus, so long as you like to flirt through debating. But we like to take our time discovering our beliefs! We may switch sides and if youâre too stagnant and close-minded, weâll be bored soon.Â
For example, I actually have no close friends with the same interests as me but I love them because theyâre able to introduce me to new information. Even if youâre knowledgable about music or videogames, an INTP could find this particularly interesting.
The weirder you are, the better. We love people who are accepting of our ridiculous theories/jokes and are willing to play games with us.Â
People who think independently? Oo la la! There are too many people who plagiarize others, even verbally, and itâs terribly easy to spot.Â
But pretentious people? No. Weâre not going to bother talking to you if we can avoid it. Thatâs too obnoxious.Â
Depending on the INTP, we may find dark humor and sarcasm to be our love language. Being teasing but not truly mean? Major bonus. Â
Admitting when youâre wrong is too scarce. And donât be afraid to tell us if we messed up.
Trust me, you wonât win the interest of an INTP by being all brawn and no brains.Â
Excitement
If you make small talk constantly then youâre likely not on our radar. However, itâs all in the delivery, if you can make boring stories into enchanting tales then youâre perfect for us.Â
ADVENTURE. Even if itâs as simple as playing in the race car shopping carts at the grocery store or roleplaying as gallant knights in the woods, weâre fun nerds.
Weâre attracted to people who make us try things we wouldnât normally do on our own. This is why we have a tendency to be around at least a few crazy extraverts who jump off buildings or go cliff diving.Â
TALENT IS SO SEXY. For me, Iâm always infatuated with people who are entertainers, especially people who I expect to be future comedians or artists. Sometimes I really like people who are interested in engineering. Whatever your talent, the better you are at it, the more interest youâll raise.Â
WIT. If you reply to the oddities of our texts/conversations with banter, prepare to catch a swooning INTP.Â
Donât mistake drama for excitement. If youâre picking fights with all of your friends, weâll expect you to do the same with us.Â
If youâre a little mysterious, just enough to intrigue us but not so much that youâre lying, being insincere otherwise, or being overtly private you may catch our eye. Itâs a lot of fun to solve the puzzle of people in good time but no one wants to be bogged down by having to guess about a personâs desires nor their honesty.Â
Positive vibes! Do you bring your friends cookies? Do you smile and talk to strangers on the subway? Itâs easy to fall in love with someone just because theyâre a genuinely nice person. Â
The more easily entertained you are, the better. Often we want to retreat into solitude and if youâre clinging to us to keep you from boredom, weâll get snappy sometimes. Plus, we donât always want to be the only one generating ideas for things to do.Â
Stability
Sure, maybe you werenât expecting that when the category above it was excitement.
Weâre logical homebodies. We want people who we can imagine sharing our home with, even if itâs in a very nontraditional way.Â
When all hell breaks loose, all we want is a shoulder to lay our heads on and a hand to hold. Someone we can fight against the world with. An equal partner.Â
While itâs important not to take one another for granted, the safety in knowing that someone will always be around to have your back is one of the most important factors for long-term relationships.
Stable people are the people who donât extract too much from us emotionally, who donât force us to do things weâre morally opposed to, who understand our needs even if we canât find the words.Â
Not to mention, confidence! Being stable in oneself is also about having healthy self-esteem and being able to be decisive about what you want.Â
Flaky and moody people are just too inconsistent for us to predict unless theyâre constantly moody and flaky. If youâre going to be late for an event, tell us. If you need some space, let us know.Â
Also, stable people are easy to respect and a relationship canât be healthy without mutual respect.Â
Weâre constantly trying to improve ourselves and we donât have a lot of spare energy to spend improving you.Â
Miscellaneous
When in doubt, just ask. Maybe they donât like constant verbal affirmations and do want to be cuddled. Maybe they hate cuddling and need to be told âI love youâ several times a day. Either way is okay if it works for you too.Â
Donât let your personality be consumed by us. We donât want to date ourselves, hopefully (unless youâve found a narcissist), and valuing yourself makes it all the more easy to like you. Â
INTPs can be very, very particular and seemingly random. At the end of the day, maybe the people we love donât check off all the boxes on a list.Â
People who remind us to breathe every once in a while and support us will always be winners.Â
gonna print this out and put it in my wallet so i can remember to get it together bc iâm a bad bitch
Classes on consent are being taught in Kenya and rape in these areas where the classes are taught has decreased by 50%. The classes have also increased bystander intervention as well as female empowerment and positive masculinity.Â
This should be done everywhere!Â

elementals
[images are 8 paintings of big cats with fantasy elemental motifs: a dark brown lion with stylized flames in place of its mane; a blue snow leopard with snowflake patterns in its coat and icicles forming on its fur; a clouded leopard shrouded in grey stormclouds; a cougar perched on some striated rocks, with geodes dotting its fur; a tiger prowling with bright green vegetation sprouting from its stripes; a winking cheetah with a bright arc of lightning running along the length of its body; a blue jaguar, floating serenely with a ring of water splashing around it; and a purple-tinged panther prowling, with bright pink cracks of arcane energy creeping up from its paws and tailtip. bright diamond sparks float around it.]

I read about this awhile ago in a book.
People who receive organ donations go through personality changes and characteristic similar to those of the donor.Â
In a study, a patient received a heart transplant from a man who was killed by gunshot to the face, and the organ recipient then reported to have dreams of seeing hot flashes of light directly on his face.
In another case, Claire Sylvia, a heart transplant recipient who received the organ from an 18-year-old male that died in a motorcycle accident, reported having a craving for beer and chicken nuggets after the surgery.
She also began to have reoccurring dreams about a man named âTim L.â Upon searching the obituaries, Sylvia found out her donorâs name was Tim and that he loved all of the food that she craved

These cases may support the cell memory theory. But as someone who wants to study the human consciousness, I have this one question.
What does this say about the human mind? Is it only stored in the brain? Can our cells also have the capacity to store information such as memory and personality? Are they aware of what makes us, who we are? Are they conscious in that sense?

Some small pieces of advice for my younger siblings just getting used to this whole âadolescent/growing upâ thing:
Sometimes, showering is a lot harder than people say. This is why dry shampoo, deodorant, and body spray are great.
Everyone else is too caught up in their own insecurities to notice yours.
(But sometimes people will take out their own insecurities on you, and theyâll be able to notice your insecurities and theyâll berate you for them. These people are huge jerks, but totally not the majority)
Some people (primarily girls) in highschool get up two hours early to do their makeup, and thatâs good for them if they genuinely enjoy it!
Most people roll out of bed with no makeup at all, or they quickly slap on foundation and chapstick. These are both totally normal and no one will care.
Relationships (romantic, platonic, familial, etc.) shouldnât bring more negativity and stress into your life than they bring good. Donât put âthe loyalty you owe themâ or âbeing kindâ above your own wellbeing.Â
Unless youâre a naturally very oily/sweaty person, you can totally get away with wearing clothes more than once for everyday wear.
Relationships can be really hard, itâs fine to focus on yourself instead of seeking out romantic partners.
You know yourself a lot better than a lot of adults give you credit for. If you feel something is a strong, integral part of your character, itâll probably stick around.
That being said, phases arenât inherently bad. Donât make permanent decisions based on temporary things you might later regret, but âgoing through phasesâ is a normal, healthy part of development.
If someone creeps you out, trust your gut. It might be nothing, it might be a life or death thing, but why have a friendship with someone who gives you bad energy, anyways?
No one truly experiences their gender and sexuality the exact same way. Itâs fine to not relate 100% to the mainstream depiction of a label, but have it be âclose enoughâ. Donât stress too much.
Life can suck sometimes, but living shouldnât be painful.
If youâre always sad and exhausted, or shaky and panicky, or have severe âteenage mood swingsâ making it hard to function, that isnât normal. You are entitled to help for this, and thereâs people who want to help you. Â
If something is threatening your friendâs life, you need to tell someone. Your friend might be mad, they might hate you for it, but if it keeps them safe, please tell an authority that you can trust to help them.
Menstruation isnât supposed to hurt so bad that you have to stay home from school, or that you throw up anything you eat. Thereâs help for this. This doesnât have to be something that your body is just âcursed withâ.
Thereâs tons of people out there who will love you. Even if you feel isolated in your current circumstances, youâre not an unlikeable person who will only ever have friends online. Youâre going to meet people just as weird as you are.
You have something wonderful to give the world. Youâre loved. Stick around, kiddo.
