⌠ ASLIHAN MALBORA , 21, CISFEMALE, SHE/HER⌡ welcome back to gallagher academy, ALINA IVANOVA! according to their records, they’re a THIRD year, specializing in THREAT ELIMINATION + COVERT OPS; and they DID (kind of) go to a spy prep high school. when i see them walking around in the halls, i usually see a flash of (long hair in odd hairstyles, an ever present scold & hesitant smiles ). when it’s the (scorpio)’s birthday on 11/12/1998, they always request their PLAIN YOGURT from the school’s chefs. looks like they’re well on their way to graduation.
1998
Alina was born in Ukraine , specifically the city of Donetsk which was riddled with crime and high rates of unemployment. Her mother and father worked in factories in horrible working conditions. When Alina was only two years old both her parents perished in a horrible fire leaving her alone until authorities found her and put her in an orphanage in Crimea, a larger city where she was bound to be adopted. Alina was only in the orphanage a couple of months before she went missing, she was never reported since she had no living relatives and almost all records of the young girl were erased.
2000
Alina was taken in by a man named Bogdan Ivanova who ran a school for children. At least that’s what it looked like from the outside. Bodgan was in a long line of former KGB agents who kidnapped children from former Soviet Union territories and trained them to be assassins, taking out anyone who opposed them or the Russian government in particular. Bodgan’s job was to train the agents, women in particular not only physically but mentally. The man referred to the girls only by numbers, not bothering with names although they were given names upon arrival , only for their records. However, he did think of them as children and that was his excuse for raising them how he did. Alina was number five of six, the girls of similar ages and attributes but there was always a competitive nature amongst them.
Once the girls were strong enough to wield weapons they did , allowing them to advance in their craft at a young age. However, their adoptive father didn’t just want them to be strong but also intelligent so he made sure they were up to date with the latest technological advances despite the poverty and crime that surrounded them. However, Alina was Bogdan’s prized possession, doing everything he ever asked, no questions asked. Where the other girls tried to surpass Alina, Alina just went 10x harder earning the esteemed title as one. The girls were numbered by performance and there was always tension between one and two wanting to earn Bodgan’s trust. The girls chosen are put through strenuous daily training, including hand to hand combat training, acrobatics, weapons training, and tactical skills. Occasionally two girls are chosen to violently spar against each other; weakness is not tolerated and the loser is killed by their opponent. The girls were fed subliminal messages to keep them loyal to the program which took on the face of Bogdan, routine was their life so they would become masters of their craft from a young age.
It was easy for the girls to get away with the crimes they were committing because no one suspects children to be committing such atrocities. The girls were stealthy and innocent looking enough where they could get away with almost anything. The government did little to nothing to stop it and the undisclosed assassins were revered because of the corrupt criminals and politicians they eliminated. However, the older they got the higher up they would get. They began wanting to infiltrate other countries like the West along with any competition within Ukraine.
2016 AND PRESENT
The United State’s government had lost two very important business men and a couple of embassy officials. They staged a coup in Ukraine luring the girls , actually expecting big burly scary men. Instead Alina arrived alone , and despite being surrounded she put up a fight. The agent was ordered to execute her , but he couldn’t because it was just a little girl in his eyes. So instead he turned her in with the promise of reform but Alina remained quiet. She was held within a facility until they knew she wouldn’t be a danger to others. Shortly after she was placed within Gallagher , the agency but most importantly the agent believing there were more of her. The agent believes she was manipulated her whole life and being around others would help her assimilate in a different setting that didn’t involve death.
MISC
Anyone from the area knows about the urban legend revolving around the school, children are seen going in but never coming out.
Alina and the other five are elite spies, but she’s not a show off so you would not expect it from her demeanor.
Alina basically has a sort of sponsor but that sponsor has now gone rogue and has been feeding Alina false promises and lies about the American government. She cannot distinguish manipulation and believes everything the agent says. If he figures out what they fed her in the school he could basically gain control of her and it could get ugly.
Love grosses her out, she thinks hugs are a sneak attack and has a thing about people touching her ( but she do be having sex shh )
Doesn’t speak much of her past, but its obvious she’s not normal. If you ask she will probably tell you because she hasn’t fully learned to assimilate because she’s trying, she’s just been misled her whole life she doesn’t know who to believe.
