Pride Month Project '26 - Day 7
Spongebob Squarepants
The year is 2026. Mattel is releasing a doll line of highschool witches. MGA is releasing a line of highschool princesses soon. The opposite companies produced those doll line concepts a decade ago. The ouroboros of rivalry swallows itself further.
Whaddya mean Code Lyoko might be coming back?!?

One huge downside about drinking more water is that now I’m just a little piss boy, needing to piss all the time. You’d think pissing for 45 seconds uninterrupted would get me a medal but no, I’m just Piss for Scotland.
everyone's talking about the ibs/autism haha funny comparison thing while I'm still stuck on the concept that hamsters exist in the wild. like naturally
tf do you mean they're a wild creature. you find those ankle-biters at the pet store
Not a biologist, but the evolution of mammals is way more granular than you might expect. Humans are the sole surviving species of the genus Homo, which was a real party before the other ones went extinct. You're in for a fun time.
Domestic cats are believed to be domesticated not from tigers, but from the African wildcat:
Which evolved to be small just because it's sometimes more useful to be small.
And no, hamsters are not off-brand rats. They're part of the rodent order, which includes beavers, moles, capybaras, guinea pigs (yes, also wild) and lots of other fun things:
Shit. This dude knows an extreme amount about a niche subject. Crazy what you can accomplish when you have treatment resistant IBS
I want it on record that I shit mostly normal.

"games are special.... because we... have stories to tell..."
*montage of third person combat in unreal engine 5*
Clint is so excited to see his wife and I find it delightful
(in The Vision and the Scarlet Witch #2 [1985])
"Diversity of opinion" but the opinions are "We should use a chainsaw to rescue a cat from a tree" and "We should trap more cats on the tree and then set it on fire"
To clarify: If those are your only options (and they often are) it's your moral imperative to choose the chainsaw.
Fuck this rhetoric. You are not obligated to choose the chainsaw. Go create a better solution.
#mybloodchainsaw
Okay, sure, when those are the only options you have, you choose the chainsaw fucking obviously, but lets not pretend that's the end of the conversation, that you shouldn't be actively seeking better options or that questioning systems isn't a good way to reason and discuss ethical problems. The chain is bad, it's a bad choice, there should be better options and I'm not going to be silent about how bad the chainsaw is even as I use it because it's my only option. The point of the original critism of the trolly problem is that a: you shouldn't feel guilty over the choices you were forced to make bu forces outside your control and b: when both your options are are bad, you should also be looking at the systemic issues that surround the choices you were forced to make to creat a better system that demands less violence. Focusing solely on the decision right in front of you and not giving time and energy to systemic changes to me feels small-minded, guarantees that things don't actually get better and prevents us from fitting a functioning break on the trolly so that next time there are people on the track we can hit the breaks instead.
Sorry for the rant but these kinds of moral hypotheticals always grate on my nerves, especially when they are simplified to this point (even if that simplification is to prove a point) and i don't think I've ever heard a single moral hypothetical where the moral and ethical reasoning couldn't be better tested by looking at a real world scenario. Obviously, nobody chooses to set the tree on fire when asked, and most people choose to kill fewer people with the trolly, but lots of people don't get vaccinated and support hostile architecture
no one's expecting you to ignore the fact that the best available option is horrific. the reason for these moral hypotheticals is to 1) get people to start fucking thinking about their choices and ethics for themselves and 2) allow people to look at situations analogous to their own without the emotional investment of status quo and reality
Contemplating crimes….

therapy can be expensive. archive of our own and toxic old man yaoi are forever free
and what if I told you guys that virtually everyone you ever meet will turn out to be really interesting if you give them a chance
some real miserable fucks in the notes I fear
I'm not even saying you have to talk to every single person you meet. and you're certainly not going to LIKE all of them. but every person does have a rich interior life and complex feelings and unique worldview. sorry.
hey man how's it going
sorry for getting self righteous about uuuuh my belief in the innate wonder of human life and connection I guess
hey man how's it going
wow. made it less than three months in
this is truly one of the most tumblr posts i've ever seen. i know chronically online people exist in all corners of the internet but i feel like this is the only place where someone could say something as uncontroversial as "you will find out that people have personalities when you talk to them" and get responses like "oh so you're making the ABLEIST assertion that i should FORCE MYSELF to push past my SOCIAL ANXIETY to talk to BIGOTS????" amazing work, guys
