Chromatic Flight

I am back with the announcements of Midnight to make theories. Mostly for Demon Hunter, and if anyone wants to shoot this at Blizzard to get them to add the class/race combo balance, feel free. Troll Demon Hunters. This is not random; it's actually in the lore itself and could VERY easily come up in Midnight. Now the canon has these as Zandalari Trolls, so even there, there's a great balance for the incoming Void Elves. They are called Demoniacs. Somewhat Zandalari warlocks who took it much further, trapping demon souls within themselves instead of just summoning demons. They also wear Runecloth outfits to manage this- probably could turn to Demon Hunter tattoos too. We don't see too many of them in-game, though. This also brings up the BfA beta where there had been plans for a Demon Hunter NPC, at the time an elf but, in the context that Demoniacs are not seen in such a bad light as their elven counterparts, it seems the plan was to make one take the place of a character in Rastakhan's council(Maybe over habutu?? No one except blizz knows though.) Perhaps this character was cut because of time constraints, maybe the idea was to make the DH feel more special after Legion, regardless, they removed them a while before the release hit. So I propose this, especially knowing the Amani will be playing a part in Midnight. As this war with the void rages on, our Demoniac's of the Zandalari begin to step in, especially knowing the Amani are not above dark tactics, instead of letting them simply turn to void for evil, they want to teach them how to harness the voids power, and turn it upon their foes to save Azeroth, maybe letting the Amani join as an AR later on. Mind this is just silly theory crafting, it'd probably be easier to set up fel orcs and such but I thought I'd toss out my two cents on the matter.

Cool you confirmed Dark trolls, cannot wait to meet em. NOT COOL THAT CERTAIN CHARACTERS MAY NOT BE MAKING IT THROUGH THE EXPANSION.

ALRIGHT I'm predicting a return of him either in WW or Midnight. The literal last shot we have of illidan(In the video image.) has the wings both intact- to be fair in game. Harbingers has them rather similar to each other- the blizzcon promo has the missing bone structure(To be fair there is a remnant of a claw coming off of it. But it's not nearly as defined as the rest of the images.) and this sculpture I'm not sure if it is, or isn't second hand, but it's intriguing to me that it almost entirely falls in line with the injury on the same side. My two cents. Perhaps I'm wildly wrong and blowing things outta proportion. But I find this very interesting either way. Wing spikes are still entirely new though.

So uh. the new panel came out. cool. neat. awesome. I'm not going bc I live elsewhere but I hope folks have fun- BUT DID THEY HINT AT SOMETHING HERE? I'm pretty darn sure that IS Illidan, but the guys lookin updated as heck. Could be tbc stuff too, to be fair. But why make the wings as torn up as they arem and fel infused? My two cents. May mean nothing. But I'm keeping an eye out after the eredar/lock updates.

Q'onzu gives me mad "I know everything You WANT to" vibes and I love them for it. But they're a loa that the darkspear, nor the zandalari. Have dealt with? You'd think a "loa of change" would come up at least once. Secondly, the Zandalari's behavior around Elune/Those linked to elune. The Lun'Alai are treated as heretics for "not worshipping a true loa" All well and good- but Gonk presumably knows Balance Druids exist. Why so wary of the druids that are close to Elune? What's the cause. What if, perhaps. The dark trolls are the guardians of this mysterious island. For one reason or another the dwarves and anything else HERE dislikes the titans(And there probably is reason. To be fair. Idontlikeemmucheither.) The spell used to conceal the island is one I've seen mentioned in a non-game related book. So its possible. Anyway, my two cents. It's late. I may elaborate more but I truly think this could be an interesting event. Seeing as we will need a horde side ambassador to this mysterious area and there is one. Just as the alliance would have Stormrider Telmin.

Okay so I was chatting with a friend, and something I realized while theorizing that maybe Vyranoth wanted to get access to the nightmare, was that. Iridikron may not be listening to old gods. It may be what the story is leading us to think, but I have a different idea that made both of us pause for a moment. Let’s think about the facts here- the Primalist’s HATE the titans, that’s for sure. So- we have a few hints here and there to Ashzara, to the void, and N’zoth. That’s very true, but here’s the bigger question. Why would Iridikron side with what Deathwing- at the time Neltharion- was siding with? Why at all? Here’s the counterpoint. Iridikron’s secret ally, could actually be the legion, Think on this for a moment, the enemy of my enemy is my friend sort of deal for one, two, Sargeras and the Primalists, have the same overall goal, Iridikron clearly craves power above all else. And Sargeras has resorted to these underhanded tactics, time and time again. You don’t HAVE to corrupt a puppet right away after all. He saw what letting a servant of his see what was going on, brought upon him. It worked out, so much better without corrupting Azshara, so why not repeat the same tactic to a dragon tied to the elements? The other point- Wow likes to make connected villains look. Semi-connected. The horns of his do resemble Sargeras’s. As well as his overall mood, Or I could be totally wrong, but this would be a good bait and switch deal. Sort of a different direction then “it was the void all along” for the 500th time.

Okay for all the new primalists. Fyrakk has THE MOST meme potential and I’m not even gonna pretend I don’t see the absolute CARTOONY DIRECTION this guy leans. It just. Works. Makes him a whole lot more like the magma/fire he represents but on the other hand I want him to kinda have a Disney Hade’s ish monologue in a cinematic because THAT would make a ton of use with his general vibe.

Ysera questline. Was. AWESOME. I finally got to doing it with my main and, while I don’t wanna treat on too many toes. I have concerns about Malfurion’s role. We’ve not seen anything he’s done since BFA so- There’s alot of questions about WHAT this guys been doing since then- or what happened. Point One: Illgynoth whisper from Legion. Let me post it here: “The vassal of life disguises treachery. Beware the eyes of green.” Mals eyes, a friend and I noticed, were R E A L L Y green. Like. Not naturey, it looked very fel-like imo at least. And Kal’dorei eyes not glowing? That’s a new one. It looked like a mimicry of a glow, not a true glow, similar to when you play in game with a Darkfallen.vs.Normal night elf. So onto my few theories on this- which could be rather interesting to see play out. 1. Teron Gorefiend. This guys- way too powerful not to be used. ANYWHERE, and yet he’s not been seen since BC? And seemingly Illidan had no idea that Teron was even working with him, there’s no mention in the novel. But we’re talking about a soul that can’t be destroyed, just hops between bodies. So- is it possible he possessed Mal for an attempt to gain power from within the shadowlands? (Much as I’d love to ignore SL lore. it’s here now, and likely not fully going away.) 2. We switched Malfurion to a dreadlord before we saw him come back. We have. Virtually no idea whats gone on for the kal’dorei-particularly Malfurion- from the end of BFA-now. Theres like...5 or so years. With 0 info. And dreadlords are making multiple moves at once. So- Was he switched and put into yet another coma-like state on azeroth? Seems a defeating purpose to swapping Ysera out, sure. But would make a more permanent reason for her to stay there in the future. Just a couple ideas I thought of anyway.

Can I get pictures and gifs of skinny pigs? Please? My lil dude passed away this morning and I’m freakin crushed I just want my lil potato- Kobold. Worst day for it too. I could really just use some pictures and encouragement. This year freakin sucked irl and this really was a kick me while I’m down turn of fate here.

This christmas sucks. That’s all I’m saying. Least I have a couple books to read.

Haha. Alright, I admit so far Dragonflight is some of the best fun I’ve had in a while. And I’ve seen a couple rumors going around about a character from a WoW book that I never thought would be mentioned(Book chars in wow have...a reputation.) So. Dralad, We didn’t know him long, he was the brother of Ysera/Alexstrasza and was killed during Galakrond’s rise. Or we assume he was killed, the body ended up vanishing. So I bring this up, because he was NAME DROPPED in a quest. My theories. 1. Dralad was dying, not dead and Tyr being a keeper and not entirely in touch with mortal views on life/death preserved him somehow, maybe testing to see if the unliving curse could be reversed before Galakrond unlocked whatever power decay is. Either this ended up creating a resentful or neutral Dralad, who could have been aspect but has been preserved since that time. Also opening up a cool orange color for our dragons, also allowing him to be one of the FEW book characters who gets to repeatedly turn up in the future. 2.  Dralad’s gonna be Galakrond 2.0. He’s the one who showed the Gnoll’s decay in the Azure Span, and it turns out his prison, much like Raszageth’s was distant from the vault. And maybe even weaker, in the computer dialogues we find. It is mentioned that Ysera wanted to bridge the gap between themselves and the unliving(Something that may turn out to be possible. in hindsight, Look at the undead and the death knights, but maybe it was also never possible to beginwith. The unliving being Mindless/A sort of hivemind.) Sympathy for something that until then ONLY wanted you dead is kind of an odd one, even for Ysera. It may have had to do with watching her kin deal with it. 3. Sort of a mix of the two outcomes, Dralad is a creature of Decay, but more in the sense that he’s aware death/life have to sort of coexist and thats just how it works. He walks a strange line since somehow titan techs kept him going this long, and he tries to balance that out with his own magic that seems to eat away at everything around him. The gnolls revere him and try to copy his abilities, making the decay he’s been trying to contain worse and now he’s dealing with that from wherever he was sealed. 4.  Dude’s just a orange protodragon we will get to meet in the Dragonscale expedition storyline, and he kinda represents titan lore/searching for knowledge(Similar to the dnd brass dragons?) and just hasn’t showned up bc we keep breaking the EK/Kalimdor and the info may be easier to find ELSEWHERE. All in all I have optimistic and dreadful hopes. I h o p e we get a book character thats more then just a line drop/murdered as a raid boss with little to no consequence.  Let this dude turn up and be a neutral force in this story thats goin on. Bc there is not much of a neutral presence.
