“You’ve already wished for that,” the genie reminds the kid, “you’ve already wished for that a whole bunch, actually, don’t you have any other wishes? A pool? Toys that light up?”

“Goldfish!” The toddler happily munches on another another cracker - disregarding the one thrown at the genie - and finishes the round currently in the cup. And then starts to cry. “Goldfish?”

“Goldfish!” The genie says, in irritation, filling the cup again. “I mean, you have three other cups, I don’t know why you keep wishing for this. You haven’t even finished what you already have! At least wish for something flammable.”

“Yay!” the toddler says, offering the genie a cracker.

“Yay!” the genie agrees, eating the cracker. “You know, your mom’s already going to be angry about the carpet, there’s no harm getting a giant monster to eat the house if she’s going to be annoyed anyway. Or we could watch a rated R movie or something. Please, kid, she’s going to think I’m a good babysitter.”
