Cradily used to roam the ocean floor in search of food, coming up to beaches to dig up prey when the tide came in, and now they are able to do it again as they've been brought back from fossils.
Cradily's body is heavy and helps anchor the Pokemon to the ocean floor, preventing it from being washed away.
Cradily secretes a strong digestive fluid from its tentacles, and it wraps its tentacles around prey to digest them whole and then absorb their nutrients.
You will often only see Cradily when the tide goes out, and only in warmer areas of the ocean.
Cradily can't move very fast, but it's neck and tentacles can extend to over three times their normal length, so hunting it's too difficult.
