FOOD DISCOURSE: reblog with ur opinions on guacamole, olives, mango, hummus, tomatoes, and cannolis
you are stuck in an elevator. would you rather be:
alone but with nothing to entertain you (no devices/book/etc.)
with someone else but they're a stranger*
*assume this is a stranger who is not going to do or say anything actually harmful to you but otherwise all bets are off as to their personality
he breasted the boulder boobily up the hill…

hiya! how about top five cities you´ve visited?
ohhhh this is a difficult one. gonna do one per country so i dont just list places from my trip to japan lol.
tokyo - honestly i can't even describe how much i loved visiting tokyo. it has everything. like yes it has the archetypical skyscrapers and crowded streets but it also has peaceful parks and even mountains if you head out to the outskirts (i climbed mt. takao on a recent trip there and it was beautiful). the food was incredible too, of course, and there was so much to do and see that i feel i barely made a dent.
seoul - incredible city. incredible food. so much to do and see including some fantastic museums. the general vibe was great too, and i loved the cafe culture and the shopping streets. i hope to go back soon as i was only there for a few days.
vienna - so many amazing galleries and museums!! like honestly nowhere ive ever been has matched vienna in that regard. it's also beautiful, especially at christmas when i went.
madrid - i love spain in general, but madrid is the main city i want to go back to. it reminds me a lot of london (complimentary), and i love the general atmosphere of the place, not to mention the huge number of galleries and museums. i can't wait to visit again some day!
porto - i didn't know what to expect when i went to porto but i loved it! it's a beautiful city and has some of the nicest food i've ever eaten. so much to see and do too.
thank you!
ask me my top five/ten anything
Two World Cup finalists from opposing teams in this fucking picture, this sport isn't real
Context for anyone who is wondering: Lamine Yamal's parents won an UNICEF raffle for a charity photoshoot in which Barça players posed with kids, and 5 month old Lamine happened to get 20yo Messi. Which is like. Literally insane
top five concerts you’ve ever been to my love pls
ohhhh this is so difficult! i've been to many and there may be some recency bias here. im also going to force myself to do each artist only once to avoid a deaf havana sweep lol
deaf havana @ islington assembely hall - this was an anniversary gig where they played my favourite album of all time (old souls) through from start to finish, and it was just a fantastic show at a fantastic little venue. i would go back and experience it again if i could.
taylor swift @ wembley stadium - the eras tour. i went with my mum and sisters and had truly such a fantastic time! we were right up in the gods but it was incredible nonetheless.
the crane wives @ islington assembly hall - this gets marked down slightly for the crowd being a bit weird but still, and amazing band to see live. i dont think i've scream-sung like that before in my life.
noah kahan @ the o2 arena - I got tickets last minute for this one and had the most fantastic time. noah has such a fantastic voice for an arena and hearing your needs, my needs and call your mom live was something else.
dermot kennedy @ the o2 arena - this would have been much higher if it werent for the atrocious crowd. but dermot is an INCREDIBLE performer (as you well know my love) and i was literally re-watching a clip of him performing the weight of the woods earlier today because it was just beautiful
im sure ive forgotten something as these are all in the last three years and ive been going to concerts since i was like 12, but this is what springs to mind!

reminder to be kind to one another
you’ve met me at a very spanish time in my life
Sorry but I've seen stuff like this a bunch of times already and ...
Do you folks understand that Argentinians have as much of colonizers as Spaniards right? That you would have a very hard time finding a modern argentinian that doesn't have European ancestors (sometimes full, sometimes among American ancestors).
Hell, Argentina's most notorious founding fathers, Belgrano and San Martín, were both sons of European colonizers (and in the case of Belgrano, a descendent of one of the first "conquistadores" of Argentina).
So yeah, modern Argentina is the direct result of colonizers breaking away from the metropolis, in a similar way that the British colonizers broke with the UK to form the US.
So looking at the Argentina - Spain match in terms of oppressed - colonizers is the same as calling England the colonizers if they were playing against the US 🤷
